Nurse Practitioner / Pediatrics / Arizona / Permanent / Pediatrician Needed in Arizona - Locum Tenens Position
Job Description
Welcome to an exciting opportunity in Tuba City, AZ! We are looking for a compassionate Pediatrician to join our team on a locum tenens basis. If you are passionate about providing quality care to children in a supportive environment, this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Patient volume: Up to 20 patients per day (average 16)
- Number of exam rooms: 2
- After-hours phone call responsibilities: Approx. 30 minutes nightly for legal follow-up and results
- No inpatient or hospital responsibilities
Team Structure
- Work alongside two other providers:
- 2 Pediatricians or Pediatricians + 1 NP
- Family Medicine doctor may be present on Wednesdays
- On-site support includes:
- 1 Medical Assistant (MA) per provider
- Reception and scheduler support staff
- All vaccines administered by MA
Qualifications
- Board Certified
- Active medical license and BLS
