*Position Summary:
* This role is responsible for implementing individualized Behavior Support Plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.

Pay Range
$18.00 - $24.50 (Based on Experience)
The Registered Behavior Technician 1 is responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, collecting data, and assisting the BCBA in developing treatment strategies for individuals with behavioral and developmental challenges. The Advanced RBT demonstrates a higher level of competency, expertise, and decision-making ability compared to a standard RBT.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the teammate may be exposed to a client that exhibits physically aggressive behavior which can include kicking, pinching, punching, biting, etc. The teammate may have to use appropriate behavior management techniques frequently with a client under such circumstances. Such response requires agility, quick reflexes, and the ability to use physically evasive movement. The teammate will be constantly required to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch and squat. The teammate must be able to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near, far, and field of vision. Speech must be spoken in a manner easily understood by others. This position requires regular and punctual teammate presence.

- In general, 12+ months experience working hands on with ABA clients
- RBT Certification
- Strong understanding of and ability to widely implement ABA programming
- Maintenance of successful CORES evaluations/assessments
Skills and Competencies:RBT Certification: To work as an RBT, individuals must obtain RBT certification, which involves completing a 40-hour training program, passing a competency assessment, and meeting ongoing supervision requirements.Clear Background Check: RBTs usually need to pass a background check to work with vulnerable populations.Compassion and Patience: Working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities requires empathy, compassion, and patience.Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients, their families, and the behavior analysis team is essential.Collaboration: RBTs must be able to work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA/BCaBA and other team members to ensure the best outcomes for the individual.

How you'll contribute
The Lead Therapist performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while enabling them access to therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health. Therapist counsels patients individually or through group education regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems using evaluative techniques and develops and implements therapeutic treatment. Therapist provides education, social work services, basic consultation, and crisis intervention. Therapist provides referrals to patients for aftercare. Lead Therapist supervises individual and group counseling and oversees responsibility for training new staff to ensure clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards. - Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
- CRRN Preferred
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-stress environments

Who We Are:
North Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical/surgical inpatient units; and short-stay surgery units. Shoals also operates the region's only in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W. Sommer Rehabilitation Unit, and the Shoals Senior Care Center, the Shoals' only psychiatric unit dedicated to our senior adults.
Position Summary:
The Program Director of Behavioral Health oversees strategic planning, operations, and policy enforcement to ensure high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health services. They manage budgeting, supervise staff, and guide both short- and long-term program development to maintain financial and clinical excellence.
- Manages all aspects of behavioral health unit operations, including staffing, care delivery, and facility maintenance.
- Participates in strategic planning, budgeting, and marketing efforts to support program growth.
- Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Acts as a liaison between hospital leadership, divisional teams, and unit staff to maintain collaboration.
Leads change initiatives, evaluates leadership performance, and promotes a positive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master's degree in nursing; preferred.
- Qualified by education and experience in the care of behavioral health patients.
- Licensure in State of Practice if applicable.
- Licensed Master's level clinician required
- Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling preferred.
3 years of leadership experience preferred.

KidSpeak Speech and Language Services, part of the Cicero Therapies Family of Practices, is currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. We are dedicated to supporting children and their families in reaching goals and building skills and behaviors in the most meaningful and motivating ways.
Comprehensive Care:
At Cicero Therapies, we provide comprehensive pediatric care through a collaborative team of Occupational Therapists (OT), Speech Therapists (ST), Mental Health (MH) professionals, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Administrative Support:
Our dedicated administrative staff handles all scheduling, referrals, and authorizations, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care to your clients. We also ensure ethical caseload requirements for our BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and yearly comprehensive assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, ABAS-3, caregiver interviews, behavior observations) with support from RBTs.
- Provide direct treatment as needed.
- Provide frequent supervision and direction to supervisees.
- Complete effective and prompt documentation for daily notes, assessments, individual treatment plans, and weekly progress updates.
- Participate in our mentorship network as either a mentee or mentor.
- Provide education and training for caregivers.
- Collaborate with other therapists (OT, PT, SLP, MH)
- Utilize our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to create and maintain documentation and collect and monitor data.
- Maintain an ABA caseload in our North Charlotte center.
- Work with practicum students.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Qualifications:
- Board Certification and licensure to work in North Carolina (candidates who have completed graduate coursework and fieldwork supervision requirements are encouraged to apply)
- Master’s degree
- Experience working with neurodivergent populations (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) or those with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral support needs
- Supervisory experience with RBTs/technicians is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to make frequent, data-driven decisions for meaningful and personalized progress.
- Effective and professional communication skills for education and training of caregivers and supervisees.
