Location: Dallas, TX 75254

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

Compensation: $30 – $38/hour


Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is supporting our client on a contract opportunity for an HR Business Partner. This role will support a dynamic and complex organizational structure within a healthcare environment. This position requires a seasoned HR professional with strong business partnership experience, the ability to influence leaders, and a servant leadership mindset. The ideal candidate will be nimble, adaptable, and comfortable supporting a remote workforce while driving HR initiatives and projects.


Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with team members and leadership within designated business units. This role serves as a strategic consultant to management on HR-related matters and acts as a change agent and team member champion.

The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR needs, collaborates across HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and develops integrated HR solutions that support business objectives. The role requires strong business literacy, including understanding financial performance, operational strategy, culture, and competitive landscape.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a change agent in organizational design, restructuring, engagement, and transitions
  • Partner with business leaders to support hiring, onboarding, and retention of a diverse workforce
  • Collaborate with HR COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions
  • Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and performance improvement
  • Identify learning and development needs and liaise with Learning & Development to deliver appropriate solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally to align culture, performance, total rewards, and recognition strategies
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions
  • Lead and support cross-functional HR projects
  • Assist with communication and rollout of new or updated HR programs and policies
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • May interview, hire, train, and appraise employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Address employee relations issues and resolve concerns
  • Administer disciplinary actions and performance management processes


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Must have general HR experience, including prior LOA, ADA, and work accommodation experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR processes, with the ability to drive impact and influence
  • Experience in talent acquisition, compensation, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and HR compliance
  • Demonstrated servant leadership style with the ability to coach and support managers and team members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience interpreting HR data and metrics
  • Strong project management mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel (MUST HAVE)
  • Ability to work within a complex organizational structure and support a remote team population
  • Nimble and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and leadership styles


Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
