Real Estate Attorney

Job Title: Real Estate Attorney

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay: $130,000-150,000

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in IL
• 5+ years of real estate legal experience
• Strong background in commercial lease drafting and negotiation
• Experience with real estate transactions (acquisitions/dispositions) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements
• Partner closely with leasing, asset management, and property management teams
• Provide legal support for portfolio operations and day-to-day real estate matters
• Assist with acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence and contract review
• Review and negotiate vendor and service contracts
• Advise on claims, disputes, and risk management issues
• Support cross-functional initiatives and provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance
