This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lockport, NY, for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist. The CNC Machinist will perform daily machining tasks, including the operation and setup of CNC machines to produce precision components. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, ensuring quality control standards are met, maintaining equipment, and performing routine maintenance. Collaboration with the production team to optimize efficiency and uphold safety guidelines is also a critical aspect of this role.
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and working knowledge of various machinery
- Experience in Machining and Milling techniques
- Familiarity with Quality Control processes and standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings
- Problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Prior experience with CNC machining is highly desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machining or a related field are a plus
