Position Title Behavioral Health Therapist Marillac Campus Position Summary / Career Interest: The Behavioral Health Therapist provides professional therapy services, including individual, group, and family therapies.
This position collects and evaluates a patient's biopsychosocial history and consults with the multidisciplinary team and patient/family throughout the hospitalization.
The Behavioral Health Therapist develops treatment plans and monitors patient's progress toward treatment goals.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Assesses patient's problems by collecting and evaluating a detailed biopsychosocial history and consulting with the multidisciplinary team and patient/family throughout the hospitalization.
Develops patient treatment plan by establishing treatment goals and objectives with the patent/family and through consultation with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Facilitates the implementation of the treatment plan utilizing appropriate treatment methodologies.
Schedules and completes individual, group, and/or family therapy daily.
Monitors the patient's progress toward treatment goals.
Assures quality service for patients by enforcing rules, regulations, and legal requirements with patients including timely, confidential documentation of significant events and clinical interactions in the electronic health record.
Maintains health system credibility by establishing working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies.
Promotes the health system by ensuring an understanding of program services available for patients; publicizes activities and accomplishments.
Provides a clinical experience for interns by negotiating learning objectives; supervises practice and caseload management, teaching theory and its application; evaluates skills and personal and professional growth, ensuring identification with the profession.
Maintains current licensure and practices within the scope of licensure.
Acquires and maintains knowledge and competence related to the expectations of their position by participating in workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
Accepts responsibility and accountability for achievement of optimal outcomes within their scope of practice.
Follows policies, procedures and standards; adheres to a professional code of ethics.
Assumes responsibility for the risk and safety issues associated with the position.

Required Qualifications:

As a Behavioral Health Care Advocate, you will be responsible for case management / care coordination of members on the SED and Autism Waivers. You'll have a direct impact on the lives of our members as you recommend and manage the appropriate level of care throughout the entire treatment plan.
Primary Responsibilities:
Make patient assessments and determining appropriate levels of care
Obtain information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment
Determine if additional clinical treatment sessions are needed
Manage inpatient and outpatient mental health cases throughout the entire treatment plan
Administer benefits and review treatment plans
Coordinate benefits and transitions between various areas of care
Identify ways to add value to treatment plans and consulting with facility staff or outpatient care providers on those ideas

Required Qualifications:

Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to meet the needs of individual patients throughout assigned areas.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collect, report, and document clinical data. Take vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, pulse oximetry, and collect specimens
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
- Assist with patient activities and care as assigned by the charge nurse/designee as indicated by the patient's plan of care
- Provide for superficial wound care
- Provide for patient safety related to age and condition
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
- Provide and maintain a clean, safe environment and perform and/or assist others to perform proper aseptic technique, isolation procedures, and infection control measures
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of the patient
- Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations/procedures or assists with other patient treatments
- Maintain patient care areas with appropriate supplies
- Assist with patient restraints and maintain precautions; collect, report and document data related to patient needs/emergencies and unusual patient and family behavior
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required

- High School Diploma or GED, required and completion of one of the following:
- Completion of Medical Corpsman program and one year of applicable experience (OR)
- Completion of EMT-P (Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic), AEMT (Advanced-EMT), Licensed Paramedic (LP) course/program and one year of applicable experience (OR)
- Completion of EMT-B (Emergency Medical Technician-Basic) and 1+ years of emergency room experience as an ER Technician or hospital equivalent experience Oklahoma, North TX, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania markets only (OR)

- We are looking for positive, self-motivated, engaged and excited for growth individuals to join our team
- 38 bed Emergency Department that sees on average 160 patients a day that present with various acuities.
- We are a primary Stroke and Stemi receiving facility that is able to intervene and administer thrombolytics.
- Two helicopter pads on campus for utilization
- We have 5 PODs in our department, depending on acuity, is where the patient will be assigned
- Behavioral Health Pod
- We have Charge nurses, ED Flow Coordinators, Paramedics, ED Techs, PCTs, Mental Health Technicians and Unit Secretaries who work in close collaboration with the ED Providers to provide exceptional care
- All staff members must have a BLS to work in this unit. RN's must have ACLS and PALS required. NIH highly preferred, must obtain within allotted timeframe.
Responsibilities:
The Paramedic, under the supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse and/or Physician is responsible for facilitating age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintaining a safe environment, educating patients and their families, collecting information, communicating effectively, and utilizing technology. The Paramedic participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of health care services and task. The role of the Paramedic Nurse Extender also, includes patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and the oversight of unlicensed personnel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Must have a working knowledge of intramuscular, sublingual, oral, rectal, nebulizers, intravenous, and intravenous push medications-effect, side effects, drug to drug interaction and anaphylaxis protocol. Working knowledge of venous blood sampling, and cardiac monitor knowledge. 2. Working knowledge of the body's systems to include neurological, respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, primary and secondary trauma assessment. 3. Summary:
Job Summary:This position will work under proximal supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to coordinate the delivery of comprehensive cardiopulmonary care by administering and managing a range of therapeutic and diagnostic interventions and advanced procedures across all patient care areas. •Practice under the proximal supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
•Assess patient cardiopulmonary status through clinical observation, patient assessment, and physiological monitoring
