Position Highlights

Exceptionally located on the southeastern coastline of Massachusetts – Southcoast Physicians Group is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join its OB/GYN division as an OB Laborist. The OB Laborist will be an integral part of the team, which currently consists of 7 full-time OBGYN Physicians, 2 gynecologists, and 7 Certified Nurse Midwives. We are growing our OB Laborist program to better position our department with a solid work/life balance and expand our providers to serve our community with our best practice commitment.

Our OB Laborists and providers work together to offer patients and their families a seamless experience throughout their perinatal experience.

The OB Laborists will work at St. Luke’s Hospital, in New Bedford, MA with expansion with our practice in the near future to serve our patients in Fall River, MA at Charlton Memorial Hospital, providing inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care. Our hospitals are Level II Maternity Centers, with Level II level nursery care and the first in the New England area to have a special care nursery with combined mother/baby rooms. Our Ob Laborists are only responsible for triage and inpatient level of care without any outpatient care responsibilities. The expectation is that the contracted Ob Laborist will be responsible for a predetermined minimum number of 12-to-24-hour call shifts per month as detailed in the contract. A part time Ob Laborist typically provides 24 hours of coverage weekly and a full time Ob Laborist provides 48 hours of call coverage weekly.

About the Role:

The Chair of Neurology will provide senior leadership for all hospital-based neurology services at Glen Cove Hospital, working closely with hospital and Eastern Region leadership to achieve departmental goals across clinical, quality, operational, and financial performance.

This role blends clinical and administrative responsibilities (approximately 80/20 split) and includes:

  • Inpatient consultative services at Glen Cove Hospital as well as ambulatory practice.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)

Princeton Dermatology Associates, is a large general and surgical dermatology practice, with five (5) Central NJ locations in Princeton, Plainsboro, North Brunswick, Monroe Township, and Hillsborough (all between 4-12 miles from our Princeton headquarters). All offices are located within very attractive suburban settings at some of the most desirable communities in the US, with excellent school systems, great universities (such as Princeton University and Rutgers), and wide availability of highly diverse educational, cultural and entertainment opportunities. All offices are approximately an hour’s drive from New York City, Philadelphia, the NJ shore and/or the Poconos.
PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY
We have an opening for a full-time physician. Part-time candidate openings are also available. We welcome candidates seeking a long-term relationship with partnership potential. Physicians who are already licensed and credentialed in New Jersey are especially welcomed. We offer a very competitive compensation package that includes strong incentives with multiple streams of income, paid malpractice insurance, health, dental, and vision insurance, vacation, CME allowance, a very generous 401k Plan, as well as optional opportunities for clinical teaching engagements.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Guaranteed Base Salary- Year 1 & 2
~$400,000 for full time candidates
~ Sign Up Bonus: $25,000 for full time candidates

Production Incentive
~50% on net collections after 2.25x base salary. The net annual collections of current full time general dermatology providers range between $1,000,000 and $2.5 million.
~ Princeton Dermatology Associates is a member of a Clinically Integrated Network of New Jersey Providers. As a result, our commercial insurance rates are over 20% higher than standard insurance reimbursement rates.

Partnership
~2-year track- If the physician candidate wishes to become a partner, after the initial waiting period, and the practice agrees, the physician is invited to buy into the practice’s Assets (at a nominal value) and the practice’s Goodwill (the rest of the purchase price). As soon as the Physician buys a % of the Assets, they gain control of the corresponding % of company shares and profits, which they can use to increase their compensation plus purchase the goodwill with the practice’s money. If and when, the Physician leaves or retires, they can sell their shares back to the practice under the same exact formula they bought in.

Extra Incentives
~ The physician may earn additional compensation for supervising Pas, or ANPs, or Aestheticians. The physician IS NOT obligated to supervise anybody unless they so choose. In terms of incentive compensation, the physician receives 10% of all midlevel production they sign off for in year 1 if the midlevel is new to dermatology. In Year 2 they receive 7.5%, and year 3 they receive 5%. If the NP or PA has prior dermatology experience, the physician earns 5% of everything they sign off on annually. Irrespective of the above, at any time, the physician receives 10% for the 3rd and 4th and so on, PAs or NPs they may choose to supervise. In addition, the physician receives 5% for signing off on Aestheticians’ charts. Practice physicians have earned in excess of $90,000 annually from this incentive stream.

The Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) Engineer is the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for delivery of the GNC subsystem for a program and/or constellation. This includes subsystem/system level analysis to ensure requirements compliance, sensor and actuator selection, and Flight Control Software (FCSW) development and validation. Engineers in the GNC group are integral throughout the entire program lifecycle, providing mission and system design inputs, critical analysis products, software/algorithm development, support to satellite integration and test (I&T), and on-console support for on-orbit operations.

As a GNC REA at the Lead/Senior level, you will be the leader for the GNC subsystem for a given program/constellation. In addition to technical execution, it is critically important that engineers in this position are capable of management of a complex project, ensuring that high-quality work products are delivered on-time. This requires working familiarity with project management techniques, as well as an ability to identify, track, and mitigate subsystem risks in order to meet program execution objectives .

Position Responsibilities:

- Deliver the GNC subsystem (hardware, software, and analysis) for a satellite program

- Perform GNC subsystem design, analysis, software development, and component selection to meet program requirements

- Manage the development of GNC products within the constraints of program cost and schedule

- Report technical execution progress to program and company leadership, and track/mitigate risk

- Interface with other satellite subsystems as well as systems engineering and program management to ensure system-level performance

- Technical leadership of a team of GNC engineers in support of a program, including decomposition and delegation of tasks

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret security clearance is required post start.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline and 5+ years of industry experience

- Strong GNC fundamentals and spacecraft system level knowledge

- Ability to perform complex GNC system analyses of kinematics, dynamics, and control systems using existing and/or self-developed tools

- Ability to decompose large/complex/nebulous tasks into clearly defined subsets of work that can be done personally or delegated to other members of the team

- Ability to lead a small team of GNC engineers and collaborate with other subsystem engineers and program leadership

- Ability to support activities (e.g. integration and test, mission operations) during off-nominal hours when required
