Busy Orthopedic office is looking for x-ray techs! We are hiring per diem to cover vacations and call-outs. We offer a nice working environment and flexible schedule. No nights or weekends!

Duties
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment

- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images
- Adjust and control X-ray equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluation
- Maintain patient records and document procedures performed

Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to diagnostic imaging
- Familiarity with various medical imaging techniques
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot X-ray equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
