We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near Fayette, NY. This ongoing opportunity offers a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or call requirements, starting as soon as possible (ASAP).
Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive outpatient radiation therapy services to adult patients diagnosed with various cancers.
* Conduct thorough patient consultations, review medical histories, and perform physical examinations to develop personalized treatment plans.
* Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Order and interpret necessary diagnostic imaging studies.
* Prescribe and administer a variety of external beam radiation therapy modalities, including conventional radiotherapy, 3D radiotherapy, SBRT (stereotactic body radiation therapy), 3D-CRT (conformal radiation therapy), IGRT (image-guided radiation therapy), and IMRT (intensity-modulated radiation therapy).

The Division of Community Oncology/Hematology has currently 10 full-time faculty members.
The successful candidates will be present for 3 days a week at various inpatient locations and 2 days a week in outpatient clinics.
There will be opportunity to increase outpatient clinic days as practice volume increases.
They will participate in all departmental activities, including possible clinical and translational research.
Applicants should have completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and be Board Eligible in both specialties.
The applicants will have an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in accordance with their credentials.
The Department of Oncology at Montefiore/Einstein has 56 full-time faculty members, 45 clinicians and 11 laboratory scientists.

Our site in Albany, NY was previously renovated and is currently finalizing a second major expansion and upgrade.
We currently have eight full time physicians in the practice and four advanced practitioners. The practice enjoys access to a tumor boards program, grand rounds, and treats a wide range of cancers. It also enjoys ample access to high quality surgical services; from breast to thoracic to hepatobiliary/pancreatic care.
Compensation & Benefits:
* Compensation is between $425,000 and $450,000
* The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
