The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician functions under the direction of the Manager Infusion Therapy or other designated leader. The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician demonstrates knowledge, competency, and clinical expertise in oncology infusion therapy including but not limited to hazardous drug therapies for treating malignant and nonmalignant conditions.
This RN will regularly administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antineoplastics agents, hazardous drugs, and targeted therapies. RN will work in an outpatient infusion center though alternate settings could occur.
This individual is responsible for providing safe patient care with an understanding and awareness of age-appropriate and culturally aware needs. The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician addresses the patient/family biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and education needs and is responsible for delivery of patient care in complex situations. The RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician serves as a clinical resource to nursing staff, operational leadership, and medical staff.
It is expected that all RNs are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the patient services team, it is expected that the individual upholds the
voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals.
They are responsible for attending and participating in staff meetings, in-services, special projects and continued education. Performs other duties as necessary. In this role they can serve as a preceptor for newly hired RN colleagues. Local travel required. Float staff will be required to float between Cobb Hospital HOD's based on need. All sites are within 35 miles of Cobb Hospital.

General Description

Provides high quality medical and surgical care for animals.

Works under administrative supervision, developing and implementing programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university.

Special Certifications and Licenses

Possess a Florida Veterinarian License in good standing at time of start and for duration of assignment.

Possess a USDA Category I License, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Possess a Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

SCOPE OF WORK

Duties and Responsibilities

The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.

- Examines animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries; treats sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery.
- Examines impounded animals; directs separation of diseased animals for treatment or other disposition; issues certificate of health for animals adopted.
- Inoculates, spays or neuters animals in accordance with established laws, and policies and standard operating procedures and including adherence to all protocols put forth by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
- Performs and interprets laboratory tests for parasitic conditions and diseases.
- Reviews and makes recommendations to Department head concerning Animal Care program policies, procedures, and activities; prepares periodic evaluative reports on veterinary services.
- Collects body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis; inoculates animals against various diseases such as rabies or distemper.
- Compares medical and surgical protocols to the overall standard of care in the community to ensure that the best level of care possible is achieved.
- Trains the veterinary technicians in all procedures involving the care and treatment of animals.
- Provides lead direction to staff responsible for following prescribed treatment and maintaining treatment records for animals brought to the shelter; ensures that the highest level of service and care are provided and that changes in animals' conditions are recorded.
- Assists in monitoring inventory and ordering of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals with strict adherence to local and State protocols on the use and security of controlled substances.

Job Summary

To provide instructional, recruiting and organizational expertise for the Men's Basketball program at Georgia Tech, supporting the Head Coach in building an environment that inspires and empowers student-athletes to be champions in academics, competition, and life.



Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Coach in evaluating individual and team strengths and developing strategies for skill improvement.
  • Support the Head Coach with all games, scrimmages, and practices.
  • Support the Head Coach in providing appropriate discipline for student-athletes for violations of team rules or Georgia Tech and Association regulations, or conduct impacting upon team matters, team policies or the reputation of Georgia Tech and the Association.
  • Assist the Head Coach and support staff in planning and supervising programs for player training, conditioning, and drug education and testing.
  • Assist the Head Coach in recommending students for athletic grant-in-aid scholarships from Georgia Tech.
  • Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment of student-athletes for the Men's Basketball program.
  • Direct Men's Basketball program student-athletes to the appropriate resources for assistance regarding financial aid, academic advisement, and general student needs provided by Georgia Tech or the Association.
  • Assist the Head Coach and support staff with providing appropriate program safety requirements.
  • Promote an atmosphere of compliance within the Men's Basketball program, Cooperate with the Association compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements. Make a determined effort to utilize available compliance resources.
  • Support the Head Coach and Association administration in monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes to facilitate pursuit of a baccalaureate degree.
  • Participate in public relations and promotions for the Men's Basketball program as assigned, and support the Communications and Public Relations department in the preparation of Men's Basketball program materials and resources.
  • Partner with The Alexander-Tharpe Fund as needed in fundraising efforts to support the Men's Basketball program, Georgia Tech, and the Association, including encouraging contributions.
  • Assist the Head Coach in overseeing the preparation and update of the equipment inventory for the Men's Basketball program in partnership with the equipment manager.
  • Assist the Head Coach with expending operational resources budgeted to the Men's Basketball program in a manner consistent with Georgia Tech and Association policies.
  • Represent Georgia Tech the Association as requested with efforts and initiatives involving Georgia Tech partners, including the Alexander-Tharpe Fund and Alumni Association, and with intercollegiate athletics organizations such as the NCAA and ACC.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents.

  • Maintains, tunes and manages computational, data, cloud technologies and workflow systems for ISMMS researchers, scientists and their external collaborators.   • Conducting high-quality artifact, feature, and site documentation using GPS-enabled tablets and other digital tools.
  • Evaluating sites for National Register and State Register eligibility.
  • Supporting report production and ensuring technical deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture through daily tailgate meetings and adherence to ERM protocols.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of field methods, logistics, and project workflows.


What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a closely related field. Or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4 years of paid professional archaeological experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with survey, inventory, testing, and/or data recovery projects.
  • Experience contributing to technical archaeological reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in field documentation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Gulf-region archaeology, artifacts, and survey standards.
  • Proficiency with GPS, tablets, and digital mapping tools.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Local availability for projects and willingness to travel (approximately 70%, including weekends).
  • Ability to walk up to 10 miles per day in variable terrain and weather conditions; lift/carry up to 50 lbs; and conduct unit excavation and shovel testing.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred

  • Graduate degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related discipline.
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA).
  • Ability to be listed on federal and state permits.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive work style.
  • Positive attitude, strong initiative, and enthusiasm for field and project work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct online and in-person background and records searches ahead of fieldwork.
  • Support preparation of field logistics, including health and safety planning, survey protocol, and equipment readiness.
  • Lead pedestrian Phase I and II archaeological surveys.
  • Supervise the documentation of artifacts, features, and sites using digital field tools.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and follow ERM field safety procedures.
  • Assess site eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places and applicable state registers.
  • Evaluate potential project impacts to archaeological resources.
  • Maintain accurate daily field logs and manage both physical and digital field records.
  • Assist with report preparation and support project teams in meeting deliverable deadlines.
