JOB SUMMARY:
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of any given project. Additionally, the Project Manager ensures budget and deadlines are met and consistent with project standards.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create a Schedule of Values for our pay applications and submit to the General Contractor.
- Analyze the construction schedule and create a schedule for submittals, material ordering and estimated field labor durations & project completion.
- Create submittals for doors, frames and hardware from architectural plans and specification.
- Manage and respond to electronic contractual changes (RFIβs, PCβs, Etc.). Quote changes that affect our material and/or labor cost. Distribute Change Order Due letters to the contractor.
- Order materials (Purchase orders) from approved submittals for timely delivery according to the construction schedule or as agreed upon with the contractor for billed and stored material.
- Support the Performance Door project field supervisor for the timely delivery of materials according to the construction schedule. Send field use drawings periodically reflecting updated schedules incorporating project revisions.
- Provide monthly pay application to the accounting department including back up documentation for stored or FSC materials.
- Actively pursue contractual βChange Ordersβ from βprice and proceedβ CO Due letters. Take an active role in collecting money.
- Approve weekly vendor invoices for payment. Check vendor costs against our purchase order.
- Other job duties and responsibilities as needed.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 5:00am to 1:00pm. Overtime as needed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Job Responsibilities- Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
- Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
- You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
- When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights safely while operating equipment.
- Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
- Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
- May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities β’ Support the Project Manager in planning and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
β’ Maintain project documentation including drawings, specifications, contract documents, and distribution of updates to project stakeholders.
β’ Review, track, and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs) and assist in preparing RFIs under the direction of the Project Manager or Superintendent.
β’ Receive, review, track, and process project submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and drawings.
β’ Assist with preparation and organization of bid packages and trade Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
β’ Support subcontractor coordination including bid leveling, scope reviews, and trade communication.
β’ Track material deliveries and verify compliance with project specifications, quantities, and quality standards.
β’ Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules, including preparation of short-term lookahead schedules.
β’ Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and track follow-up actions for project meetings.
β’ Assist in development of construction status reports, including photo documentation and progress summaries.
β’ Support project purchasing activities including preparation of scopes of work and coordination of subcontractor buyout activities.
β’ Maintain project logs including purchase orders, submittals, specifications, and schedule of values.
β’ Assist with invoice tracking, job cost monitoring, and reconciliation of purchase orders and invoices.
β’ Assist with preparation of project cost reports and job cost summaries.
β’ Coordinate project closeout documentation including warranties, manuals, and final deliverables from subcontractors.
β’ Coordinate administrative activities including meeting scheduling, file organization, and maintenance of project records.
β’ Collaborate with field personnel and subcontractors to obtain project status reports and progress documentation.
β’ Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with administrative and coordination tasks necessary for successful project delivery.
β’ Perform other duties as assigned.
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications β’ Education Requirements: Bachelorβs degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
β’ Level of Experience Requirements: 2+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, or construction administration.
β’ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
β’ Experience supporting construction documentation processes including RFIs, submittals, and project logs.
β’ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.
β’ Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret security clearance.
β’ Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks as required for access to government facilities.
β’ Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation.
β’ Ability to travel up to 10% in support of project requirements.

Coordinates and participates in proposal strategy development and supports the process of integrating and capturing the bid strategy in the proposal.
Is hands on with document development, including formatting; writing; editing; development of graphics, tables, covers and tabs; and proposal production and shipping.
Writes cover letters, executive summaries, resumes, and position descriptions, technical sections, past performance volumes, management plans, contract fact sheets, and Sources Sought and Request for Information responses.
Helps Coordinate and develop responses to prime contractor data calls.
Facilitates the synchronization of technical and cost by working closely with cost developers to match technical volume organizational, staffing, and equipment/material narratives with the price proposal.
