We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic individual to serve as the primary quantitative leader for our Digital Marketing organization. As the Senior Marketing Science Analyst, you will build and own the growth analytics function, setting the foundation for how we measure, model, and make decisions across the entire digital business - building the predictive models (Retention/Churn, CLV) and incrementality frameworks (MMM/Geo-Lift/DDA) that dictate how we spend our next million dollars. As a direct report to the VP, you are not just a reporter of performance—you are a strategist who uses advanced mathematics to engineer growth and operationalize insights across every digital touchpoint.
This is a high-impact, performance-based role designed to move beyond standard reporting. While we have established baseline infrastructure, you are expected to take our capabilities to the next level—building the predictive and causal models that directly engineer profitable growth. You will serve as the "analytical architect," responsible for unlocking deep customer insights, increasing the validity and speed of our KPIs, and translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies for the VP and broader marketing team. Growth & Performance Architecture
- Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary analytical partner for paid and retention channel owners to optimize performance and unlock channel-level efficiencies.
- Full-Funnel Ownership: Build and own the marketing analytics function, establishing how we measure the core drivers of the business and the impact of our actions on those drivers.
- Advanced Attribution: Transition the organization from baseline models to sophisticated Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Market Mix Modeling (MMM) to drive profitable acquisition.
- Incrementality Testing: Design and lead "Scientific Lift" studies (e.g. Geo-tests) to measure the true causal impact of Meta, Google, and Brand campaigns.
- Market Mix Modeling (MMM): Maintain the statistical model that advises the VP on quarterly budget shifts between Paid, Owned, and Earned media.
- Full-Funnel Attribution: Manage the transition from basic last-click reporting to a multi-touch, data-driven attribution (DDA) model.
Customer Science & Program Development
- Model Development: Lead the development of programs that target customers across the full lifecycle using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and propensity scoring.
- Predictive Insights: Build and maintain predictive models (Churn, CLV, Next-Best-Action) that allow the CRM/retention team to automate 1-to-1 personalization.
- Data Harmonization: Collect, harmonize, and review data across disparate sources (Commerce Tools, Looker/Big Query, Meta, GA4, Braze) to ensure a unified view of the customer.
Strategic Partnership & Team Enablement
- Paid Media/Acquisition: Provide the Paid Media team with data-driven insights on bid optimization, budget allocation, and target audiences derived from MMM, MTA and CLV forecasts to lower blended Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) while scaling volume.
- CRM/Retention: Collaborate closely with the CRM/Lifecycle team to operationalize models by feeding predictive scores directly into segmentation and personalization engines (e.g., Braze) to maximize conversion and retention rates.
- Executive Insight: Serve as the strategic analytical consultant to leadership, translating complex mathematical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations for investment decisions.
- Data Strategy: Partner with Data Engineering and IT teams to architect and ensure the integrity, governance, and flow of data from raw sources (E-commerce platform, Ad Platforms, appsflyer, etc) into the cloud data warehouse for modeling purposes.
Experimentation & Rigorous Analysis
- Scientific Testing: Design and execute rigorous experiments (A/B, Multivariate, and Geo-Lift) to isolate the true causal impact of marketing initiatives.
- Visual Storytelling: Formulate key insights, charts, and reports for high-level presentations to the VP and executive leadership, turning complex coefficients into business narratives.
- KPI Visibility: Increase the transparency and accuracy of core business metrics, ensuring the team is making decisions based on "valid" and "real-time" data.
Requirements
- Education: B.S. or M.S. in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Data Science).
- Professional Experience: 4-8 years in Marketing Analytics or Data Science, with at least 3 years in a high-volume Retail/E-commerce environment.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to translate complex data into business strategy and present to executive-level stakeholders. Experience working independently on analytical tasks, building, and optimizing ‘big data’ pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Experience developing and delivering exec-level presentations using insights derived from analytics
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Coding & Data Science: Expert proficiency in SQL and Python
- Web Analytics & BI: Expert experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and a major BI/Visualization platform (preferably Looker).

Salary range:
The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. See the following table(s) for the current salary scale(s) for the Lecturer position: The current full-time salary range for the Lecturer position is $70,977-$199,722.
Starting salary will be commensurate with highest degree, past college-level teaching experience, relevant industry experience and equity within the department. The current salary range for TSP positions is $1,455.90 - $3,440 flat rate per bootcamp taught.

TSP (Teacher Special Program) appointments teach our Summer Preparation Bootcamp for the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Statistics program. This bootcamp is a short courses on one or more of the topic areas listed. Most TSP courses are taught in a 'bootcamp' 3-week format in late July and early August .

The primary responsibility of the Logistics Modeling team is to intelligently and efficiently plan how CarMax moves vehicles across its nationwide network. The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for up to three Junior/Assistant/Associate/Full Specialist positions in the Upadhyayula Lab, in the area of Biological Science .
The Advanced BioImaging Center (ABC) at UC Berkeley aspires to be a world leading multidisciplinary imaging center that drives important biological discoveries through critical new advances in all aspects of imaging technology and that drives the dissemination of that technology through a multi-pronged education strategy to scientists around the world. ABC was intentionally designed to maximize scientific productivity and impact by adopting groundbreaking imaging technologies such as the next-generation adaptive optical multifunctional microscope, incorporating the high-level technical expertise of instrumentation scientists , applied mathematicians, and computational scientists, and building worldwide collaborations aimed at tackling the challenges posed by terabyte and petabyte-scale imaging data processing, visualization, and dissemination. You will have access to leading - edge imaging and computing hardware, as well as exposure to the Bay Area's brightest minds from a range of diverse disciplines, including in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, and more.
The positions involve close collaboration on a number of new and ongoing empirical projects in the fields of microscopy and data analysis. Position description
The Department of Earth and Planetary Science at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for an Assistant Project Scientist in the area of Atmospheric Science, specifically Cloud Physics, using Stereophotogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and Computational Modeling to study moist convection, with strong emphasis on instrument development (cameras), data processing (calibration, stereo reconstruction algorithms), scientific leadership, and mentorship in physical sciences.
This position will be in David Romps' group in the Earth and Planetary Science Department of UC Berkeley. The group at UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) uses theory, simulation, and observation of clouds and atmospheric dynamics to improve our understanding of Earth's climate.
The successful candidate will co-lead the development of cameras for the stereophotogrammetry of clouds, combining the camera data with the theory of physical processes and related numerical simulations to answer scientific questions about moist convective dynamics.
Assist with supervising and mentoring postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate students. The Assistant Project Scientist will collaborate with David Romps' group to produce publications, as well as contribute to proposals and progress reports. Maintain the code base responsible for camera calibration, feature matching, stereo reconstruction, and volume filling. Develop new stereo-reconstruction algorithms to keep our program at the cutting edge of cloud photogrammetry. Manage the operations of the cameras, including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Position description
The College of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of temporary instructors to assist in teaching graduate courses online for the Master of Molecular Science and Software Engineering (MSSE) Program, should an opening arise. Candidates will support the primary instructors assigned to the courses.

General Duties
Duties include assisting or leading lectures, leading or assisting in labs or discussions, and other activities customarily related to instructional assignments (i.e., grading assignments, submitting/maintaining student records, responding to student questions, tutoring students, holding regular office hours, course material preparation, attending relevant meetings, orientations, etc.).
The MSSE Program seeks candidates who can support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy.

Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. Job Summary
Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain plumbing and piping systems and support equipment. Systems include sewer and domestic water, natural gas and hot water reheat or chilled water. Determine work required, sequence of tasks based on type assignment and perform and/or direct others in performing operations and maintenance functions. Follow-up as required. May be required to coordinate contractor personnel's services and provide work direction regarding plumbing systems to maintenance personnel and others. When working in a multi-craft environment, may be directed to assist others in non-plumbing-related duties.

Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. Job Summary
Perform a variety of basic, semi-skilled mechanical and building trade tasks in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment, and in performing simple construction and fabrication work within assigned facilities. This position will interact on a consistent basis with the unit supervisor and staff members.
Responsibilities

Inspect assigned buildings, fixtures, machines, appliances, and other units; note where maintenance or repair is required.

We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Dir II HSE Program (USAN) on our Health, Science, and Ethics team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
As a Dir II HSE Program, you will direct the operations of the United States Adopted Names (USAN) Program and serve as Secretary to the USAN Council. Serve as an International Nonproprietary Names (INN) expert for the World Health Organization's INN Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
USAN Program Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the USAN Team including managing USAN and INN applications and the negotiation, approval, and payment process for all generic drug names in the United States.
- Provide operational and governance guidance and oversight to USAN Program staff by ensuring adherence to USAN policies.
- Serve as a liaison with the FDA and WHO.
- Responsible for managing USAN's operating budget, ensuring timely revenue recognition to meet financial targets.
- Responsible for establishing USAN-specific goals and providing input to help shape and implement BU-level processes.
Nonproprietary Naming Lifecycle
- Conduct negotiations for nonproprietary names for drugs, both small molecules and biologics, pharmaceutical aids, and veterinary drugs marketed in the United States between drug manufacturers, the USAN Council, and the World Health Organization (WHO)
- Serve as single point of contact with pharmaceutical clients throughout the drug naming lifecycle.
- Conduct extensive research on the availability and appropriateness of the suggested names and stems.
- Prepare and review analysis of related agents for applications.
- Ensure established nomenclature and chemical format standards are followed.
- Read and report on drug nomenclature and medical literature to maintain skills for this position including monitoring and interpreting advances in the field of nomenclature.
Secretary to the USAN Council and INN Program Expert
- Conduct biannual USAN Council meetings. Responsible for the agenda, organization and content of USAN Council meetings. Present USAN requests and new policies for review by the USAN Council at these meetings.
- Act as primary contact and spokesperson for the USAN Council; provide nomenclature guidance to manufacturers by directly communicating and explaining USAN rules and processes.
- Conduct reviews of all INN applications and make recommendations to the INN Secretariat.
- Attend INN Expert Consultation meetings twice per year to approve USAN and INN requests submitted to the INN Program.
Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and provide management oversight for staff.
- Responsible for setting objectives, evaluating employee performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Responsible for developing staff knowledge and skills to support career development.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree required.
- Ph.D. or PharmD desirable.
