- Charting System: Paper and Meditech
- Supervision: 2:1 CRNA to physician anesthesiologist ratio
- On-Call: No in-house or pager call required
CRNA Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Eligible or willing to obtain New York state CRNA license
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical CRNA experience required
CRNA Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed patient consent
- Educate patients about anesthesia options and associated risks
- Administer induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB surgical cases
- Monitor and document patients’ physiological status throughout procedures
- Provide clinical interventions and emergency response as needed
- Collaborate with supervising physician anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
