We are looking for a sharp, curious medical journalist based in NYC to interview physicians, patients, and caregivers and turn those conversations into insightful, compelling stories for healthcare professionals. You will partner closely with our editorial team to produce high quality content for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists.
This role is interview driven, you should love building rapport quickly, asking smart follow up questions, and translating lived experience and clinical perspective into clear, accurate storytelling.
What You Will Do

- Identify, recruit, and schedule interviews with physicians, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare stakeholders
- Prepare interview briefs, including background research, topic framing, and question outlines
- Conduct interviews in person and virtually, capturing quotable, accurate, well contextualized insights
- Build and maintain a reliable source network across specialties and care settings
Content creation
- Maintain editorial independence and comply with internal policies for conflicts, disclosures, and privacy
- Meet monthly production deadlines while maintaining high standards for accuracy and voice
- Handle sensitive patient and caregiver stories with empathy, consent awareness, and professionalism
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5+ years of reporting experience, ideally in health, science, medicine, or policy
- Strong interviewing skills, you can build rapport fast and ask thoughtful, precise questions
- Comfort appearing on camera, including hosting or participating in recorded interviews
- Strong judgment around sourcing, verification, fairness, and sensitive storytelling
- Comfort working in a fast paced editorial environment with multiple deadlines
- NYC based, with ability to do occasional in person interviews and events in the Northeast, Midwest, and Southern U.S.

Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the property. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Apartment renovations and turns/Make-Ready
- Exterior preventative maintenance
- Complete work-orders in an effective and timely manner
- Standard handyman work including appliance repair & troubleshooting, painting, plumbing, light electric, light carpentry, & patching drywall.
- Porter/Grounds keeping work during downtime.
Maintenance Skills Desired
- 1+ year of experience as an Apartment Maintenance/Service Technician
- General knowledge of basic residential carpentry, sheetrock, painting, plumbing, and electrical
- Experience troubleshooting & repairing residential appliances
- Experience in HVAC and EPA 608 preferred but not required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 2+ years' experience in maintenance property management
- EPA Universal Certification Required
- CPO Certification Preferred
- Ability to earn future designations as required by Industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA requirements, etc.
- Must possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. information as required by daily operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
- Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times.
- May be required to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priority/emergency situations.
- Stooping, standing, climbing (ladders and stairs) as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 30 feet.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
