Experience:



• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.



• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.



Requirements:



• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).



• This role may require floating to additional units and locations



• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:



Required Skills/Experience: RNs are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. RNs must pass a Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation (open book, 90% to pass or will be terminated). Preferred Skills/Experience: Team player, friendly, compassionate, cares about patients first, manages daily business, good attendance, responsive. Special Requests: RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract), additional RTO will not be approved. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Scrub Color/Dress Code: RNs: Navy Blue. External Unit: Med Surg Ortho Trauma 4S 221103001. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Typically every other weekend, though additional coverage may be needed. Schedules are posted 6 weeks in advance. Orientation: 2 days of unit/department specific orientation. Floating Requirements: Yes, to other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients waiting for a MedSurg bed.

JOB SUMMARY
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES The incumbent performs a variety of supervisory/management tasks involved in supervising work efforts of personnel assigned to a shop or work unit.

Supervises the performance of work performed by employees assigned to the shop or work unit.

Sets employee work schedules and accounts for time worked by section employees Explains or interprets company policy to subordinates Evaluates and documents employee performance.

RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION Manage the daily activities and technical performance of the tool room team.

Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring job candidates.

Monitor and ensure team's compliance with QA and safety standards.

Must have an in-depth working knowledge of the technical concepts, principles and requirements associated with the work unit.

Must have a practical knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices sufficient to perform as an effective supervisor.

This knowledge and these skills may be obtained by graduation from a two to four-year technical institute or college, or possess equivalent formal technical training or military equivalent and two (2) or more years of experience in a directly related technical working environment.

SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $83,907 to $115,128 annually.
