Maintains structures and processes that ensure patient centered care and supports the development of staff through mentoring and stewardship. Supports work redesign and quality improvement using evidenced base practice to achieve clinical excellence. The Director, Nursing is held fiscally responsible for the departments operating budgets and administrative functions. Works Collaboratively with clinical leaders and other Directors to lead initiatives with positive outcomes. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant for a busy Orthopedic Trauma group that provides expert surgical and non-surgical care for patients with traumatic extremity and pelvis injuries. Outside of the work performed for the general Trauma Program, the Orthopedic Trauma Service is also directly available for consultation by the Emergency Department, Primary Care Physicians, and by other Orthopedic Surgeons.
