Description:
  • Prepare and ship items using the appropriate shipping method, select appropriate shipping container, pack items for safe delivery

This position plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our company's procurement activities.

As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing purchasing policies, managing inventory levels, establishing quality standards, and ensuring seamless communication with suppliers and vendors.

You will also be responsible for negotiating contracts and overseeing supplier performance to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities: 1.

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for the company.

2.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

3.

Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.

4.

Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.

5.

Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.

6.

Assess, manage and mitigate risks.

7.

Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.

8.

Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.

9.

Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

10.

Manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and contractual agreements.

11.

Implement and manage software systems to streamline procurement and inventory management processes.

12.

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications: 1.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

2.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.

3.

Proven working experience as a procurement manager or senior buyer.

4.

Proficient in supplier management software.

5.

Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.

6.

Proven experience in negotiating contracts and formulating policy.

7.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

8.

Accurate and precise attention to detail.

9.

Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.

10.

Goal-oriented, organized team player.

11.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

12.

Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.

13.

In-depth understanding of the company’s current products and future concepts.

14.

Ability to travel as needed.

15.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
