The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team within the Specialty Engineering Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. Serving within the Research Faculty of the Institute, this position directly supports the extension, service, and economic development missions of Georgia Tech to the State of Georgia and beyond. Under direction performs a variety of duties involved in receiving incoming calls for police emergency assistance and dispatching necessary units; performs a variety of general support duties related to dispatch activities including record keeping, typing and filing; and monitors teletype communications.
Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 1 shift per month.
POSITION SNAPSHOT: The Fontana Police Dispatcher is a non-uniformed position. A typical shift is 12-hours which predominantly takes place within the Dispatch Center of the Police Department. You will be a member of a productive team that operates in a fast-paced environment while answering calls from the public and communicating with department personnel in the field via phone, computer, or radio. This communication includes but is not limited to: call taking, working secondary and primary radio channels, collecting and/or passing information to partner jurisdictions, and accurate data-entry. The goal of a Dispatcher is to serve the community through respectful, empathetic communication with a focus on problem solving and maintaining professionalism.
Essential Functions
The incumbent must have the ability to:
- Receive emergency calls from the public requesting police or other emergency service; determine nature and location of emergency, determine priority and dispatch emergency units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures.
- Coordinate emergency calls and relay information and assistance requests involving other public safety agencies.
- Maintain contact with all units on assignment; maintain status and location of police field units.
- Answer non-emergency and maintenance service calls for assistance.
- Perform a variety of record keeping, filing, indexing and other general clerical work; maintain a variety of documents relating to public safety activities; prepare related reports as requested.
- Monitor alarm switchboard and dispatch assistance as needed.
- Operate a variety of public safety telecommunications equipment; test and inspect equipment as required.

Position description
The Chang Lab, led by PI Serina Chang, is part of the Berkeley EECS Department, the UCSF UC Berkeley Joint Program in Computational Precision Health, the Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) Lab, and the Center for Human-Compatible AI (CHAI).
We are seeking a postdoc to work on projects at the intersection of AI and human behavior, including modeling human behavior with AI, building AI tools to support societal decision-making, and studying the impacts of AI on society. Potential projects include:
- Developing AI models of individuals that can accurately simulate complex behaviors across modalities, supported by rich, individual-level data including mobility trajectories, surveys, in-depth interviews, and health behaviors and outcomes.
- Scaling simulations to entire societies with millions of agents, developing robust validation of societal simulations, and applying societal simulations to inform decisions in high-stakes domains (e.g., public health, emergency response).
- Studying the impacts of generative AI on human health and well-being, from individual-level human-AI interactions (e.g., mental health risks, health decision-making) to community-level dynamics (e.g., changing support networks, engagement with health systems).
The selected candidate will assist with leading research projects, work closely with PI Serina Chang, mentor junior students in the lab, and help with the management of the lab.

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. Job Summary
The Signal Lab in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and advance cutting-edge research in the field of telecom. The role will involve research in 6G and wireless systems but also include lab management, business development, project management, cross- institute collaborations and demonstrations just to name a few.
Responsibilities
Some responsibilities include:
. Research Leadership in 6G, Wireless Systems, and Emerging Technologies
- Lead and execute advanced research programs spanning 5G Advanced, 6G architectures, ISAC, semantic communications, agentic networking, RF sensing, and wireless intelligence.
- Design and evaluate novel algorithms, PHY/MAC prototypes, and end-to-end wireless stacks using SDRs, GPU-accelerated systems, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.
- Publish high-impact papers, technical reports, and standards-relevant contributions.
2. Lab Management and Testbed Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the Center for Wireless Intelligence research lab, including equipment procurement, spectrum tools, RF instrumentation, compute clusters, and software environments.
- Manage, maintain, and expand the outdoor wireless testbed (campus-scale or city-scale): radios, remote nodes, edge compute, backhaul, deployment logistics, calibration, and field testing.
- Ensure safety, compliance, documentation, inventory management, and continuous uptime of lab and testbed assets.
- Build automated pipelines for experiments, data collection, benchmarking, and reproducibility.
3. Affiliate Engagement, Business Development, and Partnerships
- Engage, onboard, and close new affiliate companies into the CWI affiliate program.
- Serve as technical liaison for affiliate members across telecom, semiconductor, cloud, defense, and AI domains.
- Define joint research thrusts, scoping documents, deliverables, and IP paths with partner organizations.
- Coordinate demos, campus visits, on-site reviews, and technical deep-dives for affiliates.
4. Project Management and PhD Mentorship
- Mentor PhD students, postdocs, and research engineers working on 6G, wireless intelligence, agentic systems, and related topics.

5. Proposal Development and Funding Acquisition

7. Cross-Institute Collaboration and Ecosystem Building
- Facilitate collaborations with GT centers, MITRE Labs, government agencies, industry partners, and academic institutions.
- Represent the center in institute-level initiatives, standards bodies, federal roadmaps, and 6G consortium efforts.
- Identify and develop synergy projects across AI, robotics, cybersecurity, energy systems, and digital twins where wireless is foundational.

Position description
This postdoctoral opportunity brings together faculty from UC Berkeley's School of Education (BSE); the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS); and the Social Science D-Lab to support one (1) postdoctoral scholar as they study the teaching and learning of Data Science. Scholars will apprentice with multiple projects to develop and contribute expertise and scholarship in ethical data science teaching and learning across precollege, 2-year college, and 4-year university contexts. A major goal is to prepare scholars who are conversant across sectors, in order to help create coherent and supportive data science learning trajectories for all students.
We seek applicants with complementary relevant skill-sets and training in data science and education. This includes applicants with different educational backgrounds (e.g. research, regional, or liberal arts colleges; technical and community colleges), methodologies (e.g. qualitative and quantitative approaches to social sciences research), and experiences related to teaching or educational research (e.g. tutoring, teaching, curriculum development). We hope scholars will all share commitments to contributing high-quality, ethical Data Science Education teaching, curriculum, and scholarship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this positon.
The program will prepare postdoctoral scholars for a variety of careers such as entering Discipline-Based Education Research or the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning of Data Science as research or teaching faculty at a range of colleges and universities; working for non-academic organizations that design, develop, and study curricula, resources, and teacher learning for Data Science Education; or working with school districts or university systems to support student readiness, success, interest/confidence and career awareness in data science.
Duties of Position:
Year 1: Researchers will work with specialists among the faculty in Computer Science, Data-Intensive Social Science, Education, and Statistics in research rotations across departments; attend monthly workshops designed to develop the knowledge base required to conduct consequential research in this field; and become integral members of a growing community of practice at UC Berkeley and across the SF Bay Area.
Year 2: Researchers will engage with a year-long apprenticeship with a faculty mentor and will develop an independent project within the context of one of the many educational initiatives led by project personnel. Fellows will have the opportunity to teach workshops in Python/Jupyter, social science methodology, data literacy pedagogies, or data science curriculum development, and they may also teach undergraduate courses in Data Science/Statistics or STEM teacher preparation, no more than one course per year in the lecturer title. They will present their independent work at campus colloquia and will engage the broader Data Science Education field through scholarly conferences, technical workshops, and UC Berkeley's annual Data Science Education convening.

Summary:
The Manager of Network Management and Operations plans and manages the service delivery for quality and continuous improvement of network architecture, devices and protocols while adhering to and executing best practices to maintain optimal service levels. This position is responsible for daily operations for The Guthrie Clinic’s (TGC) network infrastructure to enable delivery and high availability of standard, enterprise-wide related clinical, business and communication applications. The Manager supports the Director of Enterprise IT Infrastructure to achieve goals and priorities to define and implement policies, procedures and technical solutions that ensure interoperability, manage security risks, lower total cost of ownership and provide a platform for scalable future growth. The Manager will offer business rationale and perspective on technological problems and opportunities. Experience:

Department Information
The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. With over 16-degree programs, including its world-renowned online MS in CS, we believe the College to be the largest Computing unit in the United States and, as such, one of the largest producers of computationalist at all levels and of all demographic backgrounds. The College is a part of the Georgia Institute of Technology, a unit of the University System of Georgia and is primarily located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Summary
Provide information and counsel to undergraduate and graduate students within an assigned area regarding their academic pursuits and progress. Prepare and maintain associated student records. Usually concentrate in graduate programs or specialized academic area. May provide work direction to Academic Advisor Is and administrative support staff. Responsibilities

Meet with students concerning questions and issues regarding various aspects of their academic program. May include questions regarding academic program requirements, registration, permits, overloads, degree petitions, change of major, commencement, curriculum, academic progress, and Institute policy
