Audio Visual Technician

Job Description:

Installation and configuration of Audio Visual systems; including but not limited to conference rooms, digital signage, video conferencing, video walls, sound masking, system controls and other specialized technologies. Common equipment manufacturers include Shure, Extron, Logitech, Samsung, NEC, LG, Biamp/Cambridge Audio, Atlas IED, Peerless-AV, Chief, Da-Lite and more.

This position would also be called on to install copper/fiber structured cabling.

Training:

Kiedinger, Inc. provides on-the-job training and all the tools required to perform tasks.

Kiedinger, Inc. provides vendor on-line courses and vendor hands-on classroom training.

Education:

High School diploma. 

Jobsite:

Our shop is in Middleton and the job sites are primarily in the Madison area. Some customers have locations throughout southern Wisconsin and, while nearly all job sites are within a day trip, there is potential for overnight travel. The position is responsible for assisting with installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance in office buildings, manufacturing facilities, clinics, and hospitals.

Job Hours:

7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Hours may vary according to customer needs. On limited occasion, may include nights and weekends. 

Compensation:

·      Your starting hourly pay rate will be based on previous experience.

·      Overtime pay after 40 hours per week.

·      Paid holidays.

·      Earned hours for Vacation and Sick pay based on previous years hours worked.

·      Initial pay increase will be based on goals achieved in your training and the quality of your work.

·      Annual pay rate increases are based on overall performance and your ability to advance our team’s goal of achieving 100% customer satisfaction.

·      Health insurance benefit starts on the 1st of the month following your 90th day on our team. Kiedinger, Inc. pays 75% and you pay 25% of the premium through payroll deduction.

·      Eligible for 401k participation with employer match and profit-sharing after one year of full-time employment.
