American Honda Finance is seeking The Senior Compliance Monitoring Specialist will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, risk‑based compliance testing framework. This role ensures that the framework effectively assesses both regulatory and operational compliance. It is focused on supporting oversight across our indirect auto finance portfolio.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will create and implement standardized testing methodologies and scripts that reflect the distinct requirements of indirect auto financing, leasing, and servicing. You will leverage large data sets and advanced analytics to ensure testing is statistically sound, scalable, and aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.
A critical part of this role includes effectively interpreting and clearly communicating testing results to stakeholders, with the goal of driving sustainable compliance practices that meet—and exceed—standards set by state and federal regulators. You will play a key role in strengthening our control environment and supporting responsible, customer‑focused growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based compliance testing framework. Continuously evolve and maintain an analytical, data-driven approach to AHFC compliance monitoring and self-audits
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing plans, results, and remediation.
- Maintain strong, ongoing knowledge of business operations to ensure testing and self-audits remains relevant and effective and develop insights and recommendations that support continuous improvement.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely updates to testing scripts and self-audits while maintaining cutting‑edge knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape affecting AHFC’s operations and apply this expertise by identifying potential compliance risks related to all applicable state and federal laws

- BA/BS degree required ; Masters is a plus

- Strong skills of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with leadership regarding compliance risk
