The Opportunity

  • Applies knowledge of first aid procedures to assist physician/advanced provider in treatment of the patient, including changing dressings and applying bandages.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse. In this role you will beresponsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to patients. You will have patient contact during the immediate pre, intra and immediate post-operative periods, monitors the activities of all nursing staff during the procedure to which you are assigned, demonstrate clinical skills, and serve as team leader on-call emergency situations.

  • You will develops and implements individual patient care plans in accordance with standards of nursing practice through implementation of the nursing process and nursing diagnosis.
  • You will administer medications as ordered for specific group of patients and demonstrates knowledge of their modes of action, side effects and contraindications.
  • You will Initiate, regulate and otherwise manages IV therapy for a specific group of assigned patients.
  • You will assume responsibility for patient placement on the unit and assignment of care responsibilities that consider complexity of nursing care required by each patient.
  • You will demonstrate competence in the clinical knowledge, skills required and technology of the department employed in the care of patients on the unit.
  • You will evaluate patient environment for safety and communicates identified concerns to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
  • You will provide patient education and keeps patient informed of treatment plan.
  • You will Maintains a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patient/families in accordance with hospital standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California RN license.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Current BCLS certification required.

Gestational Carrier Requirements

To ensure a safe and successful journey for both carrier and baby, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Between 21–39 years old
  • U.S. citizen living in a surrogate-friendly state
  • Have delivered at least one child and are currently parenting
  • No more than two (2) C-sections
  • Not receiving government or public assistance (including Medicaid, WIC, SNAP/Food Stamps, or state-funded health insurance)
  • No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
  • No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
  • Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
  • Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments
  • Live a healthy lifestyle free of illicit or recreational drug use
  • Have a stable home environment and strong support system

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. Compensation includes:

Base Compensation

  • $60,000 – $70,000
    (First-time carrier to experienced carrier)

Additional Benefits

  • $250 monthly expense allowance
  • $500 maternity clothing allowance
  • $10,500 for multiple birth
  • Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
