Summary:

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, and will help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The CT Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The CT Technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. UCF Information Technology (UCF IT) is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer I to join the Infrastructure team and apply technical expertise to maintain UCF's cloud computing environment. The Cloud Computing Engineer I will support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, VMware, and Google Cloud, with a focus on software-defined networking and zero-trust architectures.

The Cloud Computing Engineer I will follow documentation and best practices, consult with internal customers on new projects and implementations, and collaborate with multiple teams and departments during new Azure cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Respond to service requests and incidents related to Azure cloud infrastructure. Fulfill routine infrastructure requests including virtual machine provisioning, storage allocation, and network configurations. Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers as appropriate.


  • Perform routine infrastructure builds and deployments in Azure, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other cloud resources. Follow established templates, runbooks, and best practices to ensure consistent and secure deployments across environments.


  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost metrics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools. Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key performance indicators. Alert appropriate teams when thresholds are exceeded or anomalies are detected.


  • Use and help maintain script repositories for common Azure functions using PowerShell, Terraform, and other Infrastructure as Code tools. Execute automation scripts for routine tasks, contribute to script improvements, and document procedures for team use.


  • Adhere to UCF Infrastructure ITIL processes, such as request and change management procedures, ensuring all planned changes are properly reviewed, documented, and communicated. Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize disruption and ensure smooth implementation of changes.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, standards, and operational guidelines. Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives by creating and updating technical documentation in the team wiki and knowledge base.


  • Assist with cloud security and compliance tasks, including reviewing access permissions, supporting audit requests, and helping to remediate findings from security assessments. Follow established security policies and best practices for Azure environments.

Job Summary

The Georgia Institute of Technologys School of Architecture invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at Associate or Full Professor in the School of Architecture in the area of Architecture and Design Computing. The successful candidate will: First, lead the development of research agendas in this area; second, serve as steward for the Eastman Fund to support doctoral students; and third, work with the School Chair and the Dean in order to reshape the mission of the Digital Building Lab (DBL).

The DBL was created by professor Chuck Eastman to address design computation, data standards and interoperability. Over the years it has housed studies in design and construction automation; project delivery systems; and smart buildings, infrastructure and environments, often working in conjunction with the Digital Fabrication Lab which provides a setting for design-build projects for the faculty and the students. The DBL has also fostered collaborations between the faculty of the School of Architecture, the School of Building Construction and the School of Industrial Design, as well as collaborations with the research labs of the faculty including the Shape Computation Lab (SCL) and the High Performance Buildings Lab. Under professor Chuck Eastman, funding came from both successful research applications and from industry memberships. The partnerships with industry fostered and sustained a link between academic research and advances in practice as well as in research internal to major architecture firms. Now is the time to redefine and revitalize the vision and the mission of the lab, taking into account current developments in artificial intelligence, data-based design decisions, and advanced digital modeling of buildings and their performance.



Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the successful candidate include securing and conducting funded research, stewarding the future identity and growth of DBL, mentoring early career researchers, advising PhD students, leading the development of forward-looking curricula for the MS Arch and PhD programs, and teaching advanced graduate courses in candidate's area of expertise.



Required Qualifications

Candidate must have a terminal professional degree in Architecture or an allied discipline.



Preferred Qualifications

A strong record of publications on architectural and design computation and/or the development of digital technologies applicable to building design and construction; and a strong track record of sponsored research, industry collaboration, and teaching. A Doctoral Degree is preferred. An interest and ability to relate research to studio teaching is welcome but studio teaching is not a requirement for this position.

The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. Established July 1, 2023, the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS) is the first new college at Berkeley in over 50 years. CDSS offers outstanding undergraduate major programs in Computer Science, Data Science, and Statistics. CDSS is seeking outstanding instructors to be appointed in the non-Senate Lecturer title series who can teach small and large courses. We are particularly interested in instructors who can teach courses that satisfy the Human and Social Dynamics of Data and Technology requirement for the college. This requirement is designed for the purpose of developing an understanding of how technology and data interact with human and societal contexts, including ethical considerations and applications such as education, health, law, natural resources, and public policy. Examples include: Anthropology of Science, Data, and Technology; Artificial Humanities: AI, Language, and Fiction; and Data and Justice.

The Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Program (ISSP) is the administrative unit that oversees the interdisciplinary majors, minors and graduate programs within the Social Sciences Division of the College of Letters and Sciences at UC Berkeley.



Housed in ISSP, the Master of Computational Social Science (MaCSS) is a new one-year professional master's program that will provide students with practical skills for analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing social data. The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach Electrical Engineering or Computer Science courses should an opening arise. These are not tenure-track positions - selected candidates will hold the title of Lecturer. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. Berkeley Summer Sessions & Study Abroad is a part of the division under the leadership of the Dean of Extended Education that also includes University Extension and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.



Summer Sessions, in partnership with UC Berkeley's Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department (EECS), invites applications for a pool of qualified, dynamic instructors with a commitment to Pre-College education in Computer Science, Programming, and Data Science to teach high school students (grades 10-12) in our Berkeley Summer Computer Science Academy. This intensive, non-credit program is offered in-person over 2 weeks during weekdays (June 22, 2026 - July 3, 2026) on the UC Berkeley campus with some online instructional components, such as an Instructor Orientation and a student pre-arrival Welcome Webinar.

We are seeking qualified applicants who possess current subject matter expertise and teaching proficiency in the SNAP! programming language/coding software and in other introductory coding, computer science, data science, and artificial intelligence concepts.



General Duties

Department Information

The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. Act as the primary administrative support for a school Chair providing office related services including correspondence and report preparation, maintaining files, meeting arrangements and related functions.
