About the Role
Shaka Wear is looking for a Graphic Designer to assist in creating impactful collateral for digital, social media, and printed media. The team is growing fast and an ideal candidate would be able to execute creative deliverables and identify trends in streetwear and be knowledgeable of up to date standards in design and programs. The Graphic Designer would be a team player who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to learn and have no ego in the work. The Graphic designer will need to work across a variety of mediums (Photo editing, website, social platforms, etc.) in the creation of materials for developing and maintaining an impactful, on-brand experience as well as various email marketing, ads, and web. As part of the responsibilities related to social media, the Graphic Designer will need to work across all of team social channels on primarily static materials.
Additionally, the Graphic Designer will be expected to help elevate the brand's visual identity through detail oriented photo retouching, innovative design toolkits, concepts, and content while working with the entire creative team on an as-needed basis on other creative and graphics deliverables including print, logo design, production artwork, etc.

- **Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign proficiency is a MUST.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and quickly turn around work products including but not limited to ecom and lifestyle photo retouching, creative promotional material and presentation design.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate Degree in Graphic Design or closely related discipline preferred

- Experience delivering great creative while meeting parameters of existing brand guidelines

About the Job: The primary responsibility is to assist in creating art, repeats, graphics and trims for all junior product categories.
A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:
- Design and Illustrate original art across all categories.
- Design cohesive stories for each delivery and category.
- Creating original textile prints, recolors, manipulating repeats and scales, etc.
- Work on placement art such as graphics, embroideries and embellishments.
- Prepare artwork for production: scaling, color callouts and sending to vendors.
