β’ Vendor/Supplier Management
o Interface directly with multiple suppliers.
o Track supplier timelines, delivery dates, and part availability.
o Ensure vendors meet schedule commitments and escalate issues as needed.
o Work through first layer engineering discussions (tolerances, drawings, manufacturability).
β’ Project & Schedule Tracking
o Track materials, component delivery, and process validation timing.
o Manage timing for human use builds and related deliverables.
o Develop timelines for assigned tasks and integrate them into the larger program schedule.
o Enforce deadlines and monitor impact to schedule or cost.
β’ Technical Support
o Leverage engineering mindset to interpret drawings and tolerances.
o Address initial technical questions with vendors before escalating to design engineers.
o Support manufacturing and machine component related projects.
β’ General Tasks
o May handle shipping, logistics tasks, and other ad hoc operations.
o Mostly self-directed work requires initiative and ownership.
Required & Preferred Experience
Required
o Bachelorβs degree in engineering.
o 3β5 years of experience.
o Proven ability to execute projects and manage timelines.
o Ability to interface with external vendors and suppliers.
o Strong technical skill set (mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, or similar).
Strongly Preferred
o Medical device product development experience.
o Knowledge of design controls, new product development, and regulated environments.
o Experience with machine components or manufacturing processes.
o Prior experience managing external vendorsβ technical deliverables.
