FAMILY BASED MENTAL HEALTH WORKER Full-Time in Philadelphia, PA

Salary Range: $44k-$49k depending on experience

The Mental Health Worker will be responsible for collaboration with team members to implement goals identified by the family in the treatment plan, access community resources, and assist family members and other care takers in developing skills to access other systems supports. This passionate individual works with the family to identify appropriate referrals and supports the family with those referrals. In addition, the Mental Health Worker assists with skill building activities as identified in the treatment plan and coordinates activities including interagency team meetings. Responsibilities will also include client/family support and counseling, documentation, client/family outreach, systems outreach, school consultation, and crisis intervention and prevention.

Job Specifics: work schedule is a Monday Friday full-time position with a rotating on-call schedule.

Education/Training and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 12 credit hours in psychology, counseling, family therapy, sociology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation counseling, or theology, from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP), or in another child or adolescent mental health setting. Knowledge of community systems including child welfare, juvenile justice, and community mental health is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Family Based program operations and related standards is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a clean motor vehicle record required.
