Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Test and analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products (including chemicals and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) to determine stability, purity, chemical content, and other key characteristics.
- Follow standardized formulas and experimental procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Accurately document test results and communicate the status of results to stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and laboratory personnel.
- Collaborate with internal operations, technical personnel, Johnson & Johnson teams, and contract laboratories as needed.
- Review peer laboratory data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Perform and document stability pulls as assigned.
- Demonstrate proficiency in analytical techniques including:
- HPLC
- UPLC
- Karl Fischer titration
- UV analysis
- NIR spectroscopy
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 0β2 years of laboratory experience required.
- Bachelorβs degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a science-related field involving wet chemistry and/or laboratory functions preferred, OR
- Associate degree (two-year technical degree) in a science or laboratory-related field preferred.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of GMP/GLP environments.
- Excellent documentation and data integrity practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
