Position Summary
As a Service Technician, you will be the frontline expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our advanced dry ice blasting systems. The Service Technician will use diagnostic tools, data insights, and hands-on technical expertise to maximize equipment performance and uptime for our customers.
Cold Jet values practical, hands-on experience over traditional four-year degrees. We encourage candidates with military, HVAC, automotive, or industrial maintenance backgrounds who are looking to grow in a stable, advanced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Equipment Support
- Perform in-shop diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot integrated control systems and complex mechanical assemblies
- Assist with equipment installations, including integration into automated or robotic systems
- Use remote diagnostics and connected tools to support troubleshooting and maintenance
Service Operations
- Manage parts inventory to ensure timely and efficient repairs
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support shop operations and coordinate with vendors as needed
Customer Support & Training
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers on equipment operation and efficiency
- Serve as a technical resource and build strong customer relationships
- Communicate equipment performance feedback to Engineering and Product teams
- Travel 10–30% within the Americas to support installations and key service needs
Qualifications & Experience
- Military technical training OR vocational/technical education in HVAC, automotive, industrial maintenance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial service, mechanical repair, or similar environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with PLCs or electrical control systems
- Familiarity with connected equipment, sensors, or diagnostic software

• Develops detailed comprehensive cost estimates for complex military facilities to arrive at the project’s selected plan while maintaining cost control.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional First Officer to join our Part 91 corporate flight department operating a Gulfstream G650 based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
This is a full-time position. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in the Greensboro area.
This position supports executive leadership through domestic and international operations and plays an important role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and service standards of the department. As part of a dedicated two-pilot team, the selected candidate will contribute to flight operations, planning, aircraft readiness, and the overall passenger experience.
Department Environment
Our flight department operates a single Gulfstream G650 in support of executive travel. As a small, highly collaborative team, we value professionalism, accountability, discretion, and a commitment to operational excellence.
The First Officer will work closely with the Chief Pilot in all aspects of flight operations and will be positioned for future Captain upgrade consideration based on performance, leadership development, and operational needs.
Schedule & Quality of Life
This Part 91 operation emphasizes long-range planning and schedule predictability. In most cases, trips are scheduled with approximately 60 days of advance visibility.
While flexibility is essential in corporate aviation, short-notice trips are infrequent and typically occur only under rare or unexpected circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate – Airplane Multi-Engine Land
- Current FAA First Class Medical
- Valid U.S. Passport with no travel restrictions
- 4,000 hours total flight time
- 3,000 hours multi-engine time

- Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required. to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets). Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structure .
- Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size and hole pattern for rivets, cut and form plastics and follow standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants, and solvents .
- Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to final inspection .
- Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) .
- Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Utilizing proper tooling, shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications or written/verbal information .
- Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S Program, and complies with all safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment as required.
- Properly collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags .
- Ensure accurate daily job charging to the aircraft .
- Exchange job related information and coordinate work activities between shifts through turn over report meetings and direct contact with leadership .
- Assist in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs .
- Support Lean Activities .
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.

Position Responsibilities:
Perform various duties using hand or power tools, including staking, filing, trimming, sawing, buffing, drilling, sanding, and filling to facilitate assigned tasks.
Sort, count, wrap, unwrap, and clean parts, tools, assemblies, or equipment as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas by sweeping, cleaning, and picking up materials and parts.
Move, pack, and unpack boxes, materials, parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Apply identification numbers or letters (part marks) to parts, materials, or assemblies using various marking methods (e.g., steel, rubber, electro-etch).
Rack and unrack tubes and materials, applying dust caps and seals, and verifying configuration discrepancies against samples.
Assist higher classification employees with mechanical and paint duties, including filling pots, moving lifts, and setting up/removing painting equipment.
Maintain surveillance in paint and assembly areas, ensuring safety procedures are followed and assisting incapacitated employees as needed.
Perform masking processes, including applying masking tape and protective materials to parts in preparation for painting or plating operations.
Finish contoured and flat surfaces to required specifications using abrasive materials prior to and after painting, including hand touch-ups.
Clean and service paint spray application equipment, including tanks, brushes, and hoses, after use.
Review Work Orders (WOs) and drawings to determine work requirements and obtain necessary tools and specifications using online computing equipment.
Operate and maintain the video jet marking machine, ensuring proper fluid levels and cleanliness of heads.
Assist in the anodizing process by loading and unloading detail parts on/off the load bar and performing low-pressure tests on tubing.
Count, load, and protective wrap finished production parts for shipment to the next operation, and log completed jobs into the Decac MRM system.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

Job Overview:

This off-shift position is located within our Plant 3 – Whitehall Casting Operation and will direct and motivate the manufacturing work force to produce products of high quality in the most efficient and safe manner and ensure that scheduling meets business and customer needs.

Responsibilities
- Supervises an effective team; includes planning and holding meetings, preparing and conducting performance appraisals as appropriate, managing staffing levels (including vacations, overtime, and leaves of absences), assisting with career development (motivates, coaches, and trains to acquire maximum quality, productivity, morale, and cooperation), approving time and attendance, and prioritizing and making work assignments.
- Provides effective feedback to employees, both positive and negative. Maintains appropriate documentation for all disciplinary actions taken.
- Provides training and mentoring to new Supervisors.
- Directs training and orientation of employees to ensure EHS rules are known and understood, to improve work performance, and acquaint employees with company policies and procedures.
- Maintains compliance with the collective bargaining agreement. Interfaces between management and union officials. Handles grievances.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Schedules production and work teams.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operations, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Promotes EHS and continuous improvement initiatives and culture.
- Implements ABS principles and initiatives and is the 6S program leader.
- Interacts with their employees and other departments in order to manage the flow of product through the operation.
- Maintains inventories, as applicable.
- Creates a total awareness among assigned employees of Company policies, regulations, procedures, and business initiatives. Enforces compliance and acts as a positive resource for information and questions.
- Responds to emergencies. Assists in troubleshooting production problems. Investigates and analyzes. Initiates or recommends actions to correct deviations and variables affecting schedules, costs, quality, and other factors.
- Prepares and analyzes documentation as required (i.e. production reports, log sheets, etc.).
- Reviews work procedures for safety regulations and concerns.
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
- Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
- Performs audits for safety compliance; facilitates the 6S audit program.
- Assists with budget and goal setting of the operation.
- Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg., and Kaizen Concepts.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, have good team building skills, excellent people skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, technically oriented.
- Must be energetic and a self-starter, able to promote and implement change, have good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.

- Use ability as a skilled specialist to contribute to the development of employees and techniques and completes work in innovative and effective ways .
- Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements .
- Use complicated schematics/blueprints, engineering drawings and technical instructions to safely perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft. Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications .

- Check all work and ensure a defect free assembly prior to final inspection .
- Mentor, train, and assist other team members in interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders; develop methods and shop aids to resolve production installation difficulties and problems .
- Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) .
- Align and assembles parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners .
- Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .
- Plan and organize workloads and resource requirements to meet or exceed goal hours and schedule expectations. Assist in overseeing projects or other technicians and assesses requirements of assigned tasks to procure required. materials and documentation for assigned tasks .
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S, Lean Initiative Program, and complies with all safety regulations .
