Locums Gastroenterology coverage is available in Kentucky with a block schedule and dedicated GI APP support-an excellent option if you want concentrated work blocks with time off between.
Highlights
- Block scheduling: 7-on/7-off with an ongoing need (dates still available)
- Inpatient-focused assignment with adult patients
- Strong support model: 3 inpatient APPs dedicated to GI (assist in endoscopy and on floors/ED)
- Open to IMLC physicians and the team will wait for a Kentucky license
Practice Setting
- Inpatient GI coverage
- Adult patient population
- Consultations with ED coverage included
- Typical daily volume noted at 10-20 patients/day
Schedule
- 24-hour call coverage with inpatient responsibilities
- Approximately 14 days per month needed
- 7-on/7-off structure-plan around your existing commitments
- Ongoing PRN/temporary coverage need with near-term start potential
Cases and Procedures
- Inpatient rounding and GI consults
- ED consult coverage as part of call
- Procedures are included during the coverage period
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Kentucky license required (will wait for license)
- Open to Interstate Medical License (IMLC) physicians
