Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Global Account Manager to support a prestigious client in the chemical manufacturing industry. This role is designed for a commercially driven professional with experience in international trade and chemical manufacturing who is passionate about developing long-term customer relationships and expanding global market presence.
The Global Account Manager will lead commercial initiatives across LATAM and Asian markets, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical solutions, strengthen strategic accounts, and drive profitable revenue growth for a large and established organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the full commercial cycle from market development through revenue realization and payment collection.
- Achieve assigned revenue, volume, and gross margin targets across international markets.
- Drive profitable growth across Latin American and Asian regions through strategic sales initiatives.
- Identify, develop, and close new customer and distributor opportunities in targeted markets.
- Expand market share through structured market penetration strategies and regional go-to-market plans.
- Serve as the primary commercial lead for key global accounts.
- Build strategic partnerships with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Logistics stakeholders within client organizations.
- Strengthen executive-level relationships to secure long-term supply agreements.
- Collaborate with supplier and customer technical teams to deliver tailored resin and material solutions.
- Support application development, processing optimization, and product performance improvement initiatives.
- Translate technical discussions and product capabilities into commercial opportunities and revenue growth.
- Analyze pricing trends, feedstock movements, competitive activity, and regional supply-demand dynamics.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to leadership for pricing and business planning decisions.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and regional market development plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in chemical sales and international trade experience.
- Demonstrated experience in international trade and global market development.
- Proven experience managing commercial relationships with international customers or distributors.
- Experience supporting resin, polymer, or specialty chemical product lines.
- Experience managing full commercial cycles, including negotiation, contract execution, and revenue delivery.
- Knowledge of international logistics, supply chain coordination, and global trade regulations.
- Experience conducting market analysis, forecasting, and strategic sales planning.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Excel for pipeline tracking and forecasting.
- Experience managing accounts across LATAM and Asian markets preferred.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
