Project Engineer

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a construction specialist in Florida to assist with and oversee the entirety of construction phases for a large industrial and government project and on location in South Florida. We are seeking a temp-to-hire consultant. This position will be a 6-month contract to hire.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Pre-bid & planning phase
• Execution Phase
• Close-out Phase

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Assisting VDC and BIM planning
• Performing estimating tasks, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis for future projects.
• Participate in bid-day quote tabulations and job walks

Must Haves:

• 5 years of construction management experience in managing entirety of construction phases (planning, execution, close-out)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and project documentation

Pluses:

• Experience with Water/Wastewater project management for new build, expansion, and rehab
• Virtual Design Construction (VDC) and/or Building Intelligence Modeling (BIM) experience
• Advanced scheduling, cost analysis, and risk management
