Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

One of our Partners in Alaska is seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist to provide locum tenens coverage from June 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026.

This assignment offers a highly flexible schedule, minimal onsite commitment, and a competitive compensation package in one of the most unique practice environments in the United States. The role primarily supports outpatient oncology and infusion services, with limited onsite clinic days and supplemental telehealth engagement.

Providers typically deliver approximately five in-person clinic days per month, participate in a brief weekly telehealth conference, and remain available for occasional staff consultation.

Provider Pay: $3,500 per clinic day

Total Contract Earnings (26 weeks): $91,000+

Travel and lodging are fully prepaid and not deducted from provider pay.

• Weekly telehealth tumor board ( 1 hour every Thursday)

• Average patient volume: 12-16 patients per day

• Evaluation and management of oncology patients
• Chemotherapy and infusion treatment oversight
• Collaboration with nursing and infusion teams
• Participation in multidisciplinary telehealth conference
• Consultation with clinic staff as needed

• Board Certified Medical Oncology - Required
• Active Alaska medical license and Alaska DEA required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience with medical oncology and infusion services
• Epic EMR proficiency preferred
• Documentation of oncology clinical activity within the past 24 months
