Job Description:
The Radiology Tech will demonstrate the ability to provide quality patient care and perform procedures on patients in all age ranges.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, and eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of Texas.
- Must successfully pass ARRT certification exam within one year of graduation from Radiologic Technology Program.
Job Summary
Performs a variety of x-ray procedures to include diagnostic, fluoro, OR/C-Arm. Additional duties may include EKG, phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs and other tasks as needed. Rotating call. Assists with room set up and keeps the patient care areas well stocked. The Radiologic Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
Safely operates a variety of mobile and stationary x-ray units to produce high quality images under the supervision of a Radiologist and in accordance with ALARA principles.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides diagnostic medical nuclear medicine services that are consistent with clinical education and training in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and professional standards. Individuals will demonstrate clinical competencies to perform nuclear medicine procedures ranging in age from infant to geriatric under the interpreting physicians supervision.
