Manages activities of all production personnel across an entire shift within a manufacturing facility. Develops and implements action plans to address production performance concerns or improve operations
  • Coordinates production/facility activities with Shift Managers as appropriate
  • Ensures administrative activities for the shift are being completed timely and accurately. These include but are not limited to payroll, performance reviews, standard and ad hoc production reporting, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Ensures announcements, safety topics, policies, procedures, and expectations are communicated to the staff and executed where appropriate
  • Create and/or assists in the development and execution of plant budgets, goals, standards, EOS action items and career development plans
  • Understand job standards and/or machine operation for each function
  • Follow up on associate orientation, on-boarding, training, new hire performance reviews, and/or development as appropriate
  • Ensures associates have appropriate tools to perform assigned duties and that tools/equipment are routinely inspected and maintained

  • Recruitment and Selection: determine labor needs; understand and use the Company’s interviewing process and tools; participate in the on boarding process (Passport orientation, etc.)
  • Managing & Rewarding Performance: set clear performance expectations (Passport, Performance Management Process); provide regular feedback; resolve team conflicts; encourage a positive and safe environment; use coaching and corrective action for underperformance; understand and use voluntary/involuntary termination processes
  • Training & Development: understand and coach others on processes, tools and standards (SOP’s); ensure training requirements are met; identify and address skill gaps; discuss career interests and developmental plans/next steps. Create appropriate action plans for individual development
  • Communication & Engagement: communicate site, company, and other pertinent information to team (pre-shift, one on one, etc.); share customer and MSI Express Inc information on regular basis

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administrative tasks including, but not limited to filing, mailing, ordering office supplies, preparing monthly expense reports for Property Manager and Maintenance Staff, etc.
  • Prepare and track all vendor contracts. Maintain current vendor list. Obtain current COI, business licenses and W-9 on all Vendors
  • Maintain and keep up to date tenant contact lists and current (COI’s) certificate of insurance
  • Update Clients web site monthly with current tenant contact information
  • Maintain and keep up to date web base program for building information and preventative maintenance work order system

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly budget variance reports for assigned buildings for the Property Manager’s review

  • Assist in budget planning, i.e., print reports and obtain bids

  • On a monthly basis, prepare meter reading and tenant bill backs for accounting
  • Upload bill backs in the accounting web base program
  • Review rent rolls for accuracy and compare with MRI rent roll

Our Construction & Prefabrication Services (C&PS) strategic business unit is looking for a Project Administrator who will be responsible for end-to-end project administration, which includes job set up, insurance requirements, change order management, billings, facilitating and monitoring customer payment, and completing certified payroll. Our ideal candidate has strong organizational skills. We also value integrity, team spirit, and strong communication skills.



What you'll do:




  • Perform all project administration tasks in compliance with company policy, delegation of authority and customer requirements.
  • Maintain electronic filing system according to standard of work.
  • Coordinate with construction administrators, project managers, sales managers and third-party administrators located nationwide in completing project administration duties.
  • Prepare, verify, and submit all certified payroll requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support collection of past dues.
  • Support audit requests.


What you'll bring:




  • High School Degree required, college a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Construction services experience and notary a plus.


Within 3 months, you'll:




  • Complete your Atkore immersion program.
  • Develop relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
  • Have learned the fundamentals of our company's internal software and processes.


Within 6 months, you'll:




  • Take full ownership of project administration duties.
  • Be a valued resource for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist Controller and team with requests and ad hoc projects.


Within 12 months, you'll:




  • Provide suggestions for improvement to current processes that pertain to your responsibilities.
  • Be a subject matter expert in your processes.

Job Description

The role is responsible for promoting student success through accurate and responsive advisement in student finance and service-related areas, providing support and advocacy as needed for students throughout the student lifecycle. This position is responsible and accountable for the advisement of students within their group and serving as a primary point of contact for the student(s) within their assigned portfolio. Supports students with Financial Aid advising and awareness of overall financial literacy to succeed in their educational goals. Function as a role model for our Covista values and fosters a culture of CARE consistent with our mission, vision, and purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the new student intake process by working with admissions to answer incoming student questions, provide a thorough review of program and student costs, and outline all possible options to fund their education.
  • Create and confirm an accurate financial plan by establishing timeframes to complete any application process to be financially prepared to start and stay in school. Continuously reviews student accounts to advise students on their financial eligibility.
  • Responsible for maintaining student satisfaction through facilitation of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and SMS communication with students and internal stakeholders to Student Finance
  • Using a high level of discretion and independent judgment continuously evaluates the financial plans throughout the student lifecycle and makes appropriate adjustments to ensure successful student outcomes.
  • Utilizes appropriate systems and student data to confirm and track accurate enrollment, persistence, and graduation information for assigned students.
  • Accurately and thoroughly documents all interactions in the appropriate institutional systems.
  • Analyzes student data to identify triggers, indicating a need for proactive outreach to understand challenges and successes better. Coaches students to explore alternatives to overcome barriers to persistence or graduation. Makes appropriate resource referrals when necessary.
  • Collaborates with other departments and functional areas to deliver an optimal student experience from inquiry to graduation.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all Title IV programs, policies, and procedures, including institutional and international, federal, and state regulations. Complies with applicable international, federal, and state laws.
  • Identifies opportunities and solutions that improve current methods and actively participates in the change of a constantly evolving organization. Promote student self-service tools during advising sessions and new student orientation.
  • Engages students through a variety of communication channels. This may include video advising, inbound student calls, and proactive outreach to students to deliver first contact resolution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with 1+ years of customer service or related experience Required.
  • 1+ years of experience in Higher Education Preferred.
  • Experience with Student Financial Aid software application Preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of office hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • High level of interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • PC skills in Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and database software.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain systems access to the NSLDS system (must not be in default of Title IV Federal aid).
  • Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of and quickly resolve complex issues.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20-25/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
