Hartford HealthCare?s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiology physician with Inherited Cardiovascular Disease experience to lead a team of highly trained cardiovascular specialists as Medical Director of the Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program (ICDP).Focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.
The Hartford HealthCare Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program (ICDP) is a multidisciplinary program for the care and management of patients with inherited cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmia syndromes, neuromuscular disease-related cardiomyopathy and aortopathies/connective tissue diseases involving the aorta.
About the Position:
Proficiency in nuclear, exercise and pharmacological stress testing, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and carotid ultrasound studies is required. This opportunity includes in-patient and outpatient roles in the Hartford Region (Hartford Hospital and satellite offices) and oversight of the program across the system of Hartford HealthCare's Heart & Vascular Institute ("HVI"). The role provides consultative and follow-up care to adult cardiovascular patients.
The successful candidate will have interest, training and experience in the work-up, diagnosis and treatment of ICD with a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor, the candidate will continue to develop the Inherited Cardiovascular Disease program for the HVI.There are extensive clinical research opportunities available. Research experience is required.

Payroll Administration
• Administer HR-related payroll changes, including employee rate changes, position changes, status updates, and approved deductions.
• Handle all benefit, garnishment, and deduction updates to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee year-end vacation/sick accrual adjustments and ensure accurate carryover and balances. • Partner with payroll administrator/CFO to handle employee payroll questions related to pay rates, deductions, accruals, and corrections.
• Identify, propose, and implement technology applications to streamline onboarding process for payroll and benefits enrollment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
• 7–10 years of progressive HR experience; retail or luxury brand experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing HR responsibilities in a multi-state environment (CT/MA preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, employee relations, and performance management.

Responsibilities:
- Testing the pool-water hourly and as required and make any necessary adjustments in water chemistry to the specification's required by Massachusetts Health Codes.
- Maintaining the filtration/circulation systems, including regular backwashing of the filter media and cleaning of the hair & lint strainers and skimmer baskets.
- Assist with general maintenance projects that include, but not limited to, painting, concrete repairs, landscaping and pressure washing.

The positions offer a unique blend of inpatient and/or outpatient clinical practice opportunities, including in the areas of inpatient child work, partial hospital programs, school consultation, and Consultation/Liaison work.
Psychiatric resident/fellow and medical student supervision and teaching are integral parts of our program.
This position consists of full-time inpatient work for the CARES Unit with some outpatient work.We offer competitive salary plus benefits in addition to a retirement plan.Located in Hartford, Connecticut, a city that offers a diversity of activities including: opera, theater, restaurants, and college and professional sports.
