We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) interested in a unique opportunity to support the onboarding and professional development for UW Health’s Cardiac ICU and Critical Care Float Pool nursing teams:
- Areas of support include the Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery (CVCT) ICU —a 27-bed, state-of-the-art cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery acuity adaptable ICU/IMC located at our level one trauma center, University Hospital in Madison, WI.
- CVCT ICU nurses provide highly specialized care for patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions, including cardiac and thoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and advanced medical management of cardiovascular disease.
- Advanced therapies and interventions include ECMO, CRRT, mechanical circulatory devices (VADs), and care for patients with CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysms and dissections, post-MI and STEMI (including targeted temperature management), cardiogenic shock, sepsis, acute renal failure, and respiratory failure.
- Join a dynamic ICU environment ideal for nurses who value variety, high-acuity care, and opportunities to educate patients and families with complex needs.
- Additional areas of support include the Critical Care Float Pool, staffed by experienced ICU nurses who float across all adult ICUs at University Hospital, including Neuro ICU, TLC (medical/surgical/trauma intensive care), Burn ICU, and CVCT ICU, as well as select IMC units as operationally needed.
- Facilitate and conduct onboarding and continued professional development for primarily experienced inpatient nurses across assigned critical care areas, including support for specialized and extended orientation pathways.
- Collaborate across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive educational programs supporting critical care nursing practice.
- Participate in system-wide initiatives, new nurse orientation, and organization-wide competency-based education, partnering with leadership, CNSs, nurse residency educators, and fellow NESs.
- Bring your clinical expertise; three (3) years of ICU nursing experience and nursing education experience are highly preferred.

Position Summary
As a Front Office Supervisor, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the Front Desk and Valet/Bellperson teams. You are a frontline leader in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service from arrival through departure. Essential Job Functions
- Supervise Front Desk and Valet/Bellstaff operations during assigned shifts
- Greet guests, oversee arrivals and departures, manage room assignments and special requests
- Provide information about hotel services, local events, dining, and room availability
- Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or front office management role (hospitality experience preferred)

The Account Manager oversees the daily operations of an assigned location, ensuring exceptional service for clients and guests. This role involves managing staff, maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing financial aspects such as revenue and payroll, and performing valet duties when needed.
Primary Objective
To lead and manage valet operations by delivering outstanding guest service, optimizing efficiency, and driving financial performance. The Account Manager focuses on staff development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, ensuring a safe, professional, and organized valet experience while continuously improving service quality and business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact for each property, ensuring contractual obligations are met while fostering open communication, addressing concerns, and building trust with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities for service improvements and business growth.
Daily Operational Oversight
Manage scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance to ensure smooth daily operations at each location. Conduct regular site visits to identify and resolve issues, maintain equipment, improve processes, and uphold consistent customer service standards.
Financial and Administrative Tasks
Monitor site-level revenue, payroll, and expenses to identify trends and irregularities, working with the Regional Director on cost control and accurate record-keeping to keep operations financially on track and within budget.
Team Supervision and Training
Recruit, train, and coach hourly associates, set clear performance expectations, and foster a positive work environment by modeling professionalism and enforcing company policies to support employee satisfaction and excellent customer service.
Communication and Reporting
Provide regular updates to management through reports on progress, challenges, and account needs, while using personal devices as needed to coordinate promptly during emergencies or urgent situations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Actively involve staff in planning, decision-making, and process improvement while taking full responsibility for team performance. Maintain an open and accessible leadership style, providing regular feedback, supporting skill development, and encouraging professional growth. Additional Responsibilities
Other tasks may be assigned as needed to support the company’s overall operational and financial objectives, with the expectation that the management remains flexible and responsive to evolving business needs. Education/Experience

Work Environment
The work environment for this role includes both indoor and outdoor settings, requiring collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on-site and in corporate environments. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions—including extreme heat, cold, humidity, and wet environments—is expected. The location can be noisy, with moving vehicles operated by the public.
Physical Demands
Valet responsibilities require extended periods of running, standing and walking, along with the ability to lift and carry moderate weights, such as luggage. This role also demands specific vision abilities—including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus—to maintain situational awareness and ensure the safety of guests, vehicles, and pedestrians on-site.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Required to meet in person with the IRIS participant a minimum of four times per year, with one required annual visit in the home of the participant. Because IRIS is a self-directed program, it is important for ICs to be available upon the request of the participant.
- Responsible for providing program orientation to new participants. During this time, participants will learn their rights and responsibilities as someone enrolled in the IRIS program, including verifying legal documents, completing employee paperwork and the responsible use of public dollars.
- Explore a broad view of the participant's life, including goals, important relationships, connections with the local community, interest in employment, awareness of the Self-Directed Personal Care option, and back-up support plans.
- Assist participants in identifying personal outcomes and ensure those outcomes are being met on an ongoing basis, all while staying within the participant's IRIS budget and within the requirements of the IRIS program determined by the Department of Health Services (DHS).
- Responsible for documenting all orientation and planning activities within the IRIS data system (WISITs) within 48 business hours of the visit with the participant.
- Research community resources and natural supports that will fit the individual outcomes for each participant and share that information with them as it becomes available.
- Responsible for documenting progress and changes as needed within the plan and the data system anytime a modification is requested by a participant.
- Budget Amendment or One-Time Expense paperwork may be required depending upon factors associated with the participant and their individual IRIS budget.
- Educate participants on how to read and interpret their monthly budget reports to ensure that participants operate within their budget. Being a liaison between the Fiscal Employer Agency and the IRIS Consultant Agency is also a large part of the position, which includes assisting participants with provider billing, seeking support brokers, tracking receipts, ensuring their workers are paid and mitigating areas of potential risk or conflicts of interest.
- Responsible to develop engaged and trusting relationships with participants and communicate program changes and compliance effectively.
- Responsible to maintain confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.
- Work collaboratively with other IRIS Consultant Agency staff in order to ensure a successful implementation of participants' plans.
- Attend in-person monthly team meetings with other ICs and their supervisor. In addition, weekly IC and IRIS Consultant Supervisor phone check-ins may occur, along with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• At least 2 years experience in health care, preferably in care coordination, and at least 1 year of experience serving target groups of the IRIS program (adults with intellectual/physical disabilities or older adults), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a social work, psychology, human services, counseling, nursing, special education, or a closely related field (or four years of commensurate experience if no degree).
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job related travel requirements unless otherwise required by law.
• Ability to develop positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, participants, providers, regulatory agencies and vendors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation.
