Position Summary:
The Nurse Director assumes 24 hours responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of a nursing department(s). The Nurse Director supervises, evaluates, and holds accountable the ongoing performance of the nursing staff based on the facility’s operational pillars. Maintains structures and processes that ensure patient centered care and supports the development of staff through mentoring and stewardship. He/she supports work redesign and quality improvement using evidenced base practice to achieve clinical excellence. The Nurse Director is held fiscally responsible for the departments operating budgets and administrative functions.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of the Surgical Services Line, the Surgical Services Nurse Manager is responsible for implementing hospital policies, procedures, and philosophies while overseeing staff activities, daily schedules, and department financials. This role includes performing all duties of a surgical service registered nurse, supervising 24/7 operations, and ensuring efficient service delivery. The Manager must provide appropriate staffing, develop and implement programs and protocols, coordinate performance improvement (PI) initiatives, and manage inventory and departmental education. Summary: The Lube Technician is responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Adheres to express lube guidelines.
Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints.
Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.
Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.
Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed.
Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.
Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels.

What you will do in this role:
- You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.
- You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
- You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
What qualifications you will need:
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within60days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous critical care and/or rapid response team experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Applicable national board certification required within 6 months of exam eligibility.
