The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Christus Ochsner Health in Southwest Louisiana, located at St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our dedicated team. This represents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with two other NPs and Ochsner Health's highly skilled board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons, who utilize state-of-the-art technology and innovative approaches for patients diagnosed with heart, lung, and foregut/esophageal diseases. The John & Sylvia Stelly Regional Heart Center at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick features a new Hybrid OR suite and conducts TAVR procedures. Additionally, we perform Robotic Da Vinci thoracic surgery along with minimally invasive cardiac surgeries.

Responsibilities:
Assisting in surgery, endo vein harvesting, in-patient rounding, and outpatient clinic.
Shared call 1 in 3 calls
Rotating shifts, 24/7 service coverage with night shifts and weekends.
Surgical Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic cases
Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding
Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions
Assist with vein harvesting; CABG and valve surgeries
ICU and Telemetry experience is preferred
Perform comprehensive history and physical exams
Diagnose and treat conditions, providing follow-up care as needed

Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced structure aircraft mechanics to support a maintenance program with Northrop Grumman in Lake Charles, LA.
The Navy E-6 is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707 platform The aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. This platform, now modified to the E-6B standard, conveys instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO ("Take Charge And Move Out").

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty
Reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
Have a broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair

Job duties may also require that this mechanic:
Use your thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.
Performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments.
Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction.
Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.
Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.

Summary:
The Radiology Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, and help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Expectation to participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within their scope of licensure. The Technologist will adhere to, and maintain, the expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Behavior and communication skills must align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.

- Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care as deemed appropriate by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.
- Performs examinations/procedures as needed to assist in patient throughput within the scope of the Manager’s license(s), certification(s), and/or documented competencies.
- Demonstrates flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed or required.
- Ensures completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
- Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate any problem(s) or issue(s) to the PACS administrator or Designee if needed.
- Troubleshoots and reports any equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel; does appropriate follow-up.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
Experience
- 1 year of experience in a hospital preferred
