Summary:

Akkodis is seeking an I&C Design Engineer for a DIRECT HIRE position in the Katy, TX area. The desired candidate will have 5+ years of previous experience in design for electrical instrument and controls. The I&C Engineer will be responsible for the design/development of industrial control systems including SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems. The main focus will be P&ID development, system architecture, and overall I&C design. This is an excellent opportunity to support an exciting company in the electrical engineering industry.

***Remote 1 day/week, and off every other Friday***


Responsibilities:

  • Site assessment and determination of needed instrumentation/SCADA upgrades
  • Review of existing project documents – P&ID, system architecture, electrical drawings
  • Coordination with clients on specific needs
  • Document findings – Write assessment or report of existing conditions and recommendations
  • Design/development of project drawings, including P&ID, system architecture, loop diagrams, installation details
  • Create project specifications, including instrumentation, networking, control narrative strategies, software and hardware requirements for SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems
  • Quality Control/Quality Assurance of project documents
  • Attend/Conduct project meetings with client
  • Review and comment on project submittals
  • Coordination with Electrical Engineering Department


Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience is required.
  • MUST HAVE design experience for industrial systems like water/wastewater, oil/gas, etc.
  • Must have experience designing SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems.
  • Strong background in both AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Texas is preferred.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The Sales Support Associate (SSA) is a critical inside-sales and operations support role responsible for managing key dealer interactions, government and cooperative contract programs, and sales reporting. Dealer & Inside Sales Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound calls and inquiries from key account dealers.
  • Provide proactive, remote coverage for designated Key Account dealers, including monthly outbound touchpoints.
  • Respond to dealer questions regarding pricing, availability, configurations, and contract eligibility.
  • Act as a consistent inside-sales resource to reduce transactional workload on field sales teams.


Government & Cooperative Contract Management

  • Manage relationships and ongoing requirements for Sourcewell and other governmental or cooperative purchasing contracts.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage contract documentation, renewals, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and manage contract pricing, respond to dealer inquiries related to contract terms, and ensure accurate communication of eligibility and usage.

Sales Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Enter, maintain, and manage sales, contract, and dealer data within Power BI and related reporting systems.

Job Summary

This position performs echocardiograms to evaluate different aspects of the heart for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Serves as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to staff as well as assists Management with supervisory responsibilities.Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology, preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required

  • One (1) of the following required:

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International; or

  • Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International; or

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

Experience / Knowledge /  Skills:

  • Four (4) years of prior experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.

  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions​.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Performs echocardiogram on patients: Prepares patients for test, explains what will happen during the test, positions patients for the test, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images. 

  • Helps maintain appropriate patient flow and ensures delivery of quality services in the imaging department

  • Demonstrates excellent technical skills. Acts as a resource and mentor to staff and less experienced technologists. Introduces and demonstrates new techniques to the other technologists. Responsible for orientation/mentoring for new hires or education for students.

  • Reviews incomplete exam list and unsigned report status routinely.    

  • Functions as a liaison between physicians, technologists, and department support staff

  • Enters and monitors patient data and health history as it is pertinent to the exam being performed

  • Performs quality assurance on ultrasound equipment. Recommends equipment modifications. Identifies and helps to resolve equipment malfunctions. Completes initial and renewal application for ACR and any other accreditation.

  • Maintains safety, environmental, and infection control procedures for the department

  • Helps schedule technologists to ensure appropriate staffing for expected patient volume

  • Intervenes with patients to help resolve complaints and issues. Provides excellent customer service and escalates issues appropriately

  • Responsible for supply management

  • Participates in performance improvement activities established by Non-Invasive Cardiology Services

  • Takes emergency calls within the department

  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple exams at once. Can handle situations that require expertise, leadership and problem-solving.

  • Performs other supervisory/lead related duties as directed.

  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.

Summary/Objective: Responsible for providing technical repair and service work in the field or at the hub for GE PET/CT systems, including ensuring equipment in trailers does not interfere with the safety of operation of the trucks and trailers on roadways. Lead or assist with the installation and servicing of medical imaging equipment and provide assistance to Service Engineers, Technicians as well as Apprentices. Repair, replace or install parts and devices with expertise as required.

Essential Functions:

The following list of essential functions is not intended to be restrictive or all inclusive. The fact that certain duties may not be listed does not limit the assignment of additional and/or other duties.

  • Independently complete full mobile unit load inspection to ensure secure road safety, including PET-CT and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) secured to specifications, in addition to checking electrical system for fire hazards and safe operation, quarterly or at least bi-annually, or sooner if problems arise. Exercise discretion to identify whether repairs are needed and, if so, what repairs to make.
  • Complete safety checklist of mobile unit inspection to identify any abnormalities, weekly for local units, or at least 5-6 times per year for remote units. Exercise discretion to identify whether repairs are needed and, if so, what repairs to make.
  • Perform trouble shooting and field repairs.
  • Provide phone support for customers and CII clinical staff regarding technical issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Prepare/perform equipment Preventive Maintenance according to specification and documentation.
  • Submit and fill out all required paperwork and service reports in a timely manner, no later than48 hours.
  • Preparing equipment for customer installation, including staging system and testing for functionality including Packing, for PET/CT system, PET system, CT system, elution system, computer, laptop, dose calibrator, blood pressure monitor, ECG system, and systems for image data transfer.
  • Parts testing at hub locations.
  • Leading installation and deinstalls as required.
  • Support team members especially service technicians and service apprentices in their trouble shooting, training and guidance for field repairs or preventive maintenance.
  • Find spare parts if needed or support Inventory specialist in parts' acqisitions.
  • Attending or performing training classes for existing or new equipment service.
  • Inspect and report irregularities, cleanliness, defects of CII assets, including mobile and fixed sites.
  • Maintain tools and calibration requirements.
  • Always adhere to safety procedures.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Supervisor Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Hub, mobile unit, and/or provider site. Exposure to varying elements (noise, exhaust, weather, etc.)

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • An Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent work experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as a Service Engineer with an established service organization or OEM servicing GE 690 and/or GE 710 PET/CT systems, or completed CII training.
  • Basic computer skills, MS Suite
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to travel US wide

  • Ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing
