Responsibilities

The Commercial Banking Coordinator interacts with employees within and outside department to provide quality service, solve problems and achieve goals. Working under occasional supervision performs clerical and administrative services for Commercial Loan Officer(s).

  • Prioritizes and organizes responsibilities to assure timely completion for all assigned duties.
  • Assist commercial bankers and other commercial coordinators with coordination of loan documentation, scanning of loan documentation and sending packages to Loan ops following loan closings, etc. Assist with the follow up of incomplete, incorrect or missing documentation as required by bankers and administrative assistants.
  • Creates and types memorandums, letters and other necessary documents for lenders.
  • Screens incoming mail and telephone calls and routes as required.
  • Establishes and maintains department files and records.
  • Prepares manual and computer generated reports.
  • Assures that assigned report and/or projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provides quality service to commercial loan customers e.g. receives and processes payments, responds to inquiries, etc.
  • Other department duties include research, organizing meetings, making reservations and special projects.
  • As an integral member of the Commercial Lending Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma plus one (1) year of additional specialized education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of working with Commercial Bankers or one (1) year of paralegal experience required
  • Typing, PC proficiency (with Microsoft Office Products and loan documentation software).
  • Good written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of loan forms, processes, and procedures with attention to detail.
  • Minimum of three (2) years office experience, with at least Two (2) years working with lenders.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

A Relationship Banking Representative is responsible to deliver a positive customer experience to current and prospective bank customers. The person in this position will routinely move between the customer service desk and teller area, as needed. A Relationship Banking Representative must be able to adapt well in the workplace to service the varying customer needs while adhering to bank policies and procedures. It requires someone who will maintain the security of customer information, prioritize items of significance, and be a team player.

  • Routinely provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions (i.e., opening of accounts, cashing checks, etc.) with professionalism
  • Determine customer needs, explain and sell products and services
  • Actively participate in lobby management, greeting customers and proactively taking ownership of the customer's in-branch experience
  • Telephone customers to schedule sales appointments and promote products suitable to the customer's needs
  • Participate in branch prospecting efforts and sales initiatives
  • Assist customers with requests such as stop payments, wire transfers, balance discrepancies, loan information, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between customer and operational areas
  • Conduct customer transactions with accuracy and prepare daily cash balancing within established guidelines
  • Ability to understand directions and adhere to established policy and procedures
  • Able to remain focused and organized to successfully complete responsibilities
  • Actively participate in branch meetings and training to enhance knowledge and development of skills

What you will do:

Work as part of our Hospice Homecare Team caring for families residing in the West Albany and Schenectady County region.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team,  to develop a comprehensive plan of care to provide added support to patients and families in their homes. 
  • Work closely with a team (our teams include Aides, LPNs, medical directors and NPs with specialized expertise in end of life care, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists and volunteers).

What you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
  • Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
  • 1 year experience as an RN required-preferably in Hospice/Home Care or acute care.
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable vehicle
  • The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written
  • High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers
  • Understanding of Hospice principles preferred

The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a Per diem RN to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the homecare and nursing home setting after hours on call.

Workdays and hours are based on need but could include hours during the week Monday to Friday between hours of 4pm-8a and could also include weekend eve/overnight needs.

What you will need: 

  • Valid NYS RN license required.
  • 1-2 years previous RN experience required, homecare and/or Hospice experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn/use an electronic medical record
  • Clean Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers
