Siteman Cancer Center West County is a satellite location that features an outpatient treatment area for patients to come in for scheduled appointments to receive chemotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, central line and port care, phlebotomy, etc. The scheduled infusion space is staffed with staff nurses and patient care technicians.

Our nursing staff provides pre- and post-operative care to the wide variety of interventions needed for peripheral vascular disease patients. Division 7500/75PCU is a fast paced Cardiovascular Surgery division made up of 25 beds with a mix of step down and pcu beds. We care for a variety of complex cardiovascular surgery patients including aortic and abdominal aneurysms, thoracic outlet syndrome, carotid artery disease, aorto-iliac and lower extremity occlusive disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia surgery, endoscopic coronary artery revascularization, valve repair and many more. The Staff Nurse (RN) is an integral part of the patient care team using critical thinking skills and clinical expertise to continually assess the patients'; status. The Staff Nurse (RN) is trained in critical care and will be certified in BLS, ACLS, ACUTE CARE, arterial line monitoring, and pacer wires.
