The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in real estate law.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
This role requires a strong understanding of the legal principles and practices related to real estate transactions and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Prepare and review real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, deeds, and closing documents.
Conduct title and survey review, including the analysis of title documents, legal descriptions, and survey drawings and calculations.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of real estate transactions, including closings.
Conduct legal research related to real estate transactions and laws.
Assist with the drafting and review of legal documents, such as deeds, leases, and contracts.
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties to ensure smooth transaction processes.
Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to prepare and manage documents and correspondence.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal in the real estate industry.
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
Paralegal certification is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is a must.
Familiarity with UCC filings.
Knowledge of ACRIS required Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong research skills and the ability to understand and interpret real estate laws and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
