Job Title: Electrical Engineer Associate

Location: New Albany, OH

Duration: 12+ Months Contract to hire

Pay rate: $30 to 35/Hr on W2

Education Requirements:

Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related fields plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of a 2 year technical degree preferably in engineering/electronic technology with 1-2 years of utility experience.

Responsible for performing intermediate level technical work and related activities associated with the engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of Company equipment and facilities.

Job description:

Coordinate FAC-008 activities of others and provide updates to leadership. Become proficient in navigation and monitoring of the IPS asset database. Must have experience reading one lines and electrical/physical prints. Experience with file management and ability to upload photographs into the Client Verifact system to provide support to the verification team. Data accuracy is critical.

Main Duties / Required:

• 7 plus years related experience or equivalent role
• OHSA 30 certification
• Must meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
• Must meet all requirements to be properly badged and able to meet all client requirements to access the jobsite.
• Familiar with construction management software as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
• AutoCAD, a plus for use with scheduling, spreadsheets, and cost control
• Proficient in understanding building plans and specifications
