Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures. Modifies plan of care based upon continuous evaluation.Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.Communicates with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. Offers constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers, and confers with colleagues to expand knowledge base. The compensation range for this position is $33.32per hour - $57.31per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment, psychoeducational classes, individual, family and group therapy to patients needing substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis treatment at Carle BroMenn Addiction Recovery Center. Responsibilities

Position Highlights: Inpatient Surgical
- Number of beds on unit: 30
- Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about unit): The Surgical Unit is a 30-bed unit specializing in the care of patients of pre- and post-surgical patients ages18 years and older. Severity of conditions varies from the medically stable to discharge ready. Common types of patients include regional analgesia patients, orthopedic surgical patients, major abdominal surgery patients, urology surgery patients, spine surgery patients, trauma patients, and patients with IV pharmacological core drips and boluses.
- Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:5-6
- Department culture and resources: The Surgical unit is a fast-pace, team-oriented unit. We work closely with our physician partners and ancillary team members to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We have a robust Shared Governance that meets monthly. We are seeking an experienced Senior Trust & Estate Tax Accountant to join our growing tax team.
This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex fiduciary, estate, gift, and high-net-worth individual tax returns while providing proactive planning and advisory services.
The Senior Accountant will work closely with Partners and Managers, mentor staff, and serve as a trusted technical resource for trust and estate engagements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and review complex fiduciary (Form 1041), estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and individual income tax returns.
Provide proactive trust and estate tax planning, including income and wealth transfer strategies.
Research complex federal and state tax issues and provide clear recommendations to clients and engagement teams.
Respond to IRS and state tax authority notices and inquiries.
Identify client needs and opportunities for additional planning or advisory services.
Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide coaching, training, and feedback.
Collaborate with Partners and Managers on technical issues and client strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and trusted advisory services.
Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes impacting trust and estate taxation.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 5–8+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on trust, estate, gift, and high-net-worth individual taxation.
Active CPA license preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of fiduciary income tax, estate and gift tax, and related planning strategies.
Experience reviewing complex tax returns and mentoring junior staff.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $32.81per hour - $56.43per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
