Summary
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the SLH Registered Nurse II provides nursing care to patients, including medications and treatment. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care and performs related duties as required. The Registered Nurse II level is the journey level class where incumbents have had the required professional nursing experience and are capable of independently performing the full range of clinical nursing services involving patient care. 9. Provides and evaluates patient care established standards and criteria in conformity with the nursing care plan. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum Experience: Six months experience as a Registered Nurse I with AHS or the equivalent of one year full time recent experience at a comparable level in a minimum 100-bed hospital or in the area of specialty; (if experience is not recent, completion of an approved refresher course may be acceptable).
Required Licenses/Certifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.

1. Assures clinical interventions are appropriate for the admitting diagnosis and reflect the standard of care, as defined by The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and AHS and Behavioral Health Department of Alameda County Utilization Plan.
2. Collaborates with the treatment team; reviews all inpatient admissions for appropriate admit status based on medical necessity criteria of Medi-Cal and/or commercial insurances and ensures the patient is registered at the appropriate level of care.

8. Notifies denials to the attending MD and treatment team members via EHR.
9. Reviews patient Account notes in EHR as needed for account updates and insurance accuracy.

Tasks and duties will include processing experiments precisely as documented or requested by the Engineering staff. Requirements are to work in class 10 /100 cleanroom environment, follow all procedures and protocols, follow instructions well, provide feedback to coworkers/leads in a constructive/positive manner, provide technical support and suggestions to Engineering, run sputter machines efficiently and effectively, collect sputter related data on metrology tools, maintain excellent documentation, work collaboratively in a team environment to help exceed goals. These items listed below CAN be trained.
Pilot Line Operations includes - processing of the media through various media processes and equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Processing of experiments for the Engineering team - processing discs through the various tools, measurement of the media, data entry, and feedback to engineering and management of the results.
- Work inside of a cleanroom - 100% PPE suits from head to toe with masks and safety glasses are required.
- Job requires a good amount of movement (walking - 50% depending on the job) to retrieve parts from point A to point B in many cases.
- Reaching is required in many cases to load and unload products onto racks, machines, etc., typically ranging from 24 inches to 53 inches not exceeding 10lbs.
- Many cases cart is provided for the transport of product, but hand carrying of product/material is required majority of the time as well.
- Computer skills are required in all the areas since the machines and the processes require computer and software interface. Interaction with Engineering is required via email, phone and excellent understanding and communication skills are required. Comprehension of correct recipes, file savings, instructions are followed precisely. Detailed use of excel is a must and understanding of Windows.
- Job requires stepping onto step stools to reach platforms for the processing of parts, as well as bending/kneeling in tight spaces for access to back of tools for process checks.
- Manual dexterity is needed in some areas to perform tape changes, adjustments based upon data received from Engineering or checklists. MDW process requires detailed manual dexterity with ESD sensitive parts and miniature assembly.
- Many of the jobs require cross training to be able to utilize the employees efficiently for planning purposes and downtime in areas.
- Saturday workday is required and part of their schedule in many cases and overtime is required.
- Must be able to focus, excellent attendance, comprehension, enthusiastic in performing their jobs, communicate detailed information well, pay attention to details, and have a good attitude and work ethics, and a true team player in getting tasks at hand completed in a timely manner.

What can you expect to do?
Responsibilities:
• Conducts negotiations with bidders, for non-routine, may support or work with Sourcing.
• Coordinates and assembles supporting documentation to support audits.
• Works with vendors and internal stakeholders to assemble, review, prepare, and route for vendor and management approval (using ARIBA and EDRS), necessary documents for these tasks.
• Works with vendors, Project Team to improve quality of supporting contract documents to reduce rework required by others.
• May assist in the creation and development of purchase requisitions.
• For Routine Contracts, reviews vendor proposals to ensure that rates and terms are consistent with outline agreements.
• May support / review vendor proposals to ensure that rates and terms are consistent with outline agreements.
• Ensures that Company standards are followed when executing contract documents.
• Tracks approval status of contracting documents from inception through approval and ensures that documents are routed expeditiously.
• For Routine Contracts, conducts negotiations with bidders, for non-routine, may support or work with Sourcing department.
• Reviews purchase orders and contracts as part of procurement approval process.
• Provides technical support and analysis in preparation of scope, cost, schedule, safety and environmental concerns pertinent to the contract specifications; and verify and process contract invoices.
What is needed to be successful in this role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work on multiple issues and tasks
• Advanced in MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated competencies on use of supply chain management tool (e.g. ARIBA) and other business systems tools (SAP, SharePoint, EDRS)
• Demonstrated knowledge of Company standards regarding contracting processes.
• Conflict resolution/negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to track contract costs, purchase order status, and other required information in SAP
• Demonstrated competencies on use of ARIBA and EDRS is a plus
• Process improvement experience
• Presentation Skills
• Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Knowledge of Contractual Terms and Conditions
