About the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies was created in fall 2025 to further position Georgia Tech as an international leader in research, education, and community and industry engagement at the intersection of arts, technology, and design. Housed within Georgia Tech's College of Design, the school's pedagogical approach integrates artistic foundations, technical innovation, and creative entrepreneurship. The school leverages Georgia Tech's existing strengths in areas ranging from artificial intelligence and student startups to digital media and music technology, adopts the culture of practice-based studio pedagogy in the College of Design, and builds sustained partnerships with creative studios, technology providers, startup companies, nonprofits, and artists-in-residence taking advantage of Atlanta's thriving creative ecosystem.

The school will begin offering a B.S. in Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies in Fall 2026. Through the degree, the School seeks to develop the next generation of leaders that will guide the transformation of creative practices by emerging technologies, as we also support the workforce needs and continued growth of the creative economy in Georgia.

The launch of this new school is a critical part of Georgia Techs broader strategic plan for growing the arts across the Institute. Georgia Tech recognizes the role of the arts in cultivating creative thinking, the increasingly important role that emerging technologies play in the arts, and the potential for Georgia Tech to support a thriving campus arts community in connection with a growing ecosystem of arts organizations and creative industries throughout the state. The School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. Applicants will be considered mainly at the level of Assistant Professor. The School seeks applicants whose interdisciplinary creative practice and/or research connects innovation in emerging technologies with areas such as film, gaming, and immersive media. The candidates primary area(s) of interest may be in creative practice that integrates technology in novel ways, in the creation of new technological tools that support creative practices, or in any combination thereof. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach core classes, including studios and/or lectures/seminars, in the B.S. arts, entertainment, and creative technologies degree that are aligned with the candidate's interests and expertise
• Pursue a robust set of scholarly and/or creative activities that establish the faculty member and the school as a nationally recognized leader in the integration of arts, technology, and creative practice
• Contribute to the planning and development of the new school, including strategic planning, curriculum development, and the eventual creation of additional academic offerings
• Participate in service at the school, college, and Institute level, including search committees, student applicant reviews, and governance committees.

Candidates must have a terminal degree in a field related to the intersection of arts, entertainment, and creative technologies.

About the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Mathematics instruct students from across campus, including undergraduate and graduate students. Its faculty carry out research in a wide variety of Mathematical Sciences. They are key players in several cross-disciplinary institutes, centers, and programs at Georgia Tech, including PhD programs in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO), Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), Bioinformatics, Quantitative Bioscience (QBioS), and Machine Learning ( ).

The School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for several
non-tenure track Hale Assistant Professorships to begin in Fall 2026, though pending administrative approval- an appointment may begin sooner as well. The position consists of an annually renewable three-year research and teaching appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School. In addition to a reduced teaching load in the first year, the position includes research funding. The Laboratory Technician I (Cage Wash) performs a variety of technical tasks in support of scientific research, managing and operating laboratory equipment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.

Performs routine duties in support of animal research facilities including washing housing components, sanitizing animal rooms, and support areas.

The Accounts Payable Coordinator verifies and performs system entries for invoices and other payment requests. This role serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, financial and accounting staff, and other Institute personnel on matters related to payment status and other accounts payable issues

Job Duty 1 - Reviews requests for payment (invoices, check requests, employee payment requests, verifies accuracy and validity, and enters payment requests into the financial system.

Job Duty 2 - Collaborate with the AP Accounting team to resolve payment discrepancies and returned payments and/or checks.

Job Duty 3 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Duty 4 - Responds to inquiries from vendors, contractors, department managers, and employees regarding payment status and other issues related to accounts payable.

Job Duty 5 - Coordinates, prepares, and analyzes vendor statement reconciliations and resolves any outstanding invoices and discrepancies with efficient delivery of reconciliation.

Job Duty 6 - Evaluate purchase products and services and ensure compliance with the Institute's policies and procedures and all government regulations when applicable.

Job Duty 7 - Participates in internal and external audits of the credit card/expense report functions.

Job Duty 8 - Assists with updating accounts payable policies.

Job Duty 9 - Gather performance metrics to assist with reporting; May utilize a variety of electronic systems to manage requisitions, conduct auctions, and manage vendors and/or inventories.

Educational Requirements

SKILLS
Working knowledge of and skill in applying payables processing procedures and use of related system applications and processing hardware/equipment. Customer service and communications skills are required as is the ability to plan and organize work. Understanding of Institute procurement Policies. Fast and accurate data entry. Understanding of issues that create match exceptions. Ability to resolve complex customer service inquiries related to payment status, process, and procedures. Ability to run queries and format reports. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations. The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of todays technological world. To provide instructional, recruiting and organizational expertise for the Men's Basketball program at Georgia Tech, supporting the Head Coach in building an environment that inspires and empowers student-athletes to be champions in academics, competition, and life.

• Support the Head Coach in evaluating individual and team strengths and developing strategies for skill improvement.
• Support the Head Coach with all games, scrimmages, and practices.
• Support the Head Coach in providing appropriate discipline for student-athletes for violations of team rules or Georgia Tech and Association regulations, or conduct impacting upon team matters, team policies or the reputation of Georgia Tech and the Association.
• Assist the Head Coach and support staff in planning and supervising programs for player training, conditioning, and drug education and testing.
• Assist the Head Coach in recommending students for athletic grant-in-aid scholarships from Georgia Tech.
• Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment of student-athletes for the Men's Basketball program.
• Direct Men's Basketball program student-athletes to the appropriate resources for assistance regarding financial aid, academic advisement, and general student needs provided by Georgia Tech or the Association.

• Promote an atmosphere of compliance within the Men's Basketball program, Cooperate with the Association compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements. Make a determined effort to utilize available compliance resources.
• Support the Head Coach and Association administration in monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes to facilitate pursuit of a baccalaureate degree.
• Participate in public relations and promotions for the Men's Basketball program as assigned, and support the Communications and Public Relations department in the preparation of Men's Basketball program materials and resources.
• Partner with The Alexander-Tharpe Fund as needed in fundraising efforts to support the Men's Basketball program, Georgia Tech, and the Association, including encouraging contributions.
• Assist the Head Coach in overseeing the preparation and update of the equipment inventory for the Men's Basketball program in partnership with the equipment manager.
• Assist the Head Coach with expending operational resources budgeted to the Men's Basketball program in a manner consistent with Georgia Tech and Association policies.
• Represent Georgia Tech the Association as requested with efforts and initiatives involving Georgia Tech partners, including the Alexander-Tharpe Fund and Alumni Association, and with intercollegiate athletics organizations such as the NCAA and ACC.

The Tech Temp Strength Training Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading safe, effective, and engaging fitness classes at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center. The instructor will work with a diverse community of students, staff, and members to provide high-quality fitness instruction in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This position offers a great opportunity for experienced fitness professionals to inspire and motivate others to achieve their health and fitness goals. This position reports to the Fitness Coordinator. Parking is not covered by the employer.

• Plan and teach strength training group fitness classes. Additional modalities and fusion classes are welcomed.

• Tailor class formats and intensity levels to accommodate participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.

Responsible for assisting with putting away delivered products according to established guidelines and maintains overall kitchen cleanliness. Ensures the dock is maintained and kept clean to be in accordance with department guidelines

Job Duty 1 -
Receives, inspects, unloads, records, and stocks items received.

Job Duty 2 -
Pulls, stages, delivers, and completes transfer paperwork to various campus locations. Assists with unloading of product at each location. Responds quickly and accurately to all product inquiries by food service personnel.

Job Duty 3 -
Counts inventory in stock and posts to inventory record. Checks inventory levels to assure required product is in stock for both regular business and pandemic planning requirements. Completes receiving report as required.

Job Duty 4 -
Follows First In First Out (FIFO) inventory method and set guidelines established by the department.

Job Duty 5 -
Reconciles all discrepancies immediately with management team. Forwards all product paperwork to administrative team.

Job Duty 6 -
Identifies inventoried items with appropriate labeling techniques, decals, or UPC bar codes.

Job Duty 7 -
7. Prepares requisitions or other documents for purchasing new stock items. Assists in setting up pre-inventory sheets.

Job Duty 8 -
Performs clerical duties such as filing purchase orders and other inventory documents.

Job Duty 9 -
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School Diploma.

Required Experience
One or more year of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Current ServSafe Certification

Preferred Experience
Three or more years of working experience a plus.

Perform a variety of duties related to the protection of life and property. Assist with prevention of crime, preservation of the public peace, calls for service, and basic police services in accordance with the mission, goals and objectives of the Georgia Tech Police and in compliance with governing federal and state laws. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: supervisor and co-workers, GT employees, students and campus visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: GT employees, students and campus visitors.

Job Duty 1 -
Engage in law enforcement patrol functions by foot, bike or other motorized equipment physically checking doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are secure. Conduct visual and audio surveillance.

Job Duty 2 -
Assist police officers with an arrest, forcibly if necessary, using handcuffs and other restraints; subdue resisting suspects using maneuvers and weapons (non-firearms) and resort to the use of hands and feet and other approved weapons in self-defense.

Job Duty 3 -
Prepare investigative and other reports, including sketches, using appropriate grammar, symbols and mathematical computations.

Job Duty 4 -
Perform rescue functions at accidents, emergencies and disasters to include directing traffic for long periods of time, administering emergency medical aid, lifting, dragging and removing people from dangerous situations and securing and evacuating people from particular areas.
