The Senior UKG/Kronos Configurator serves as the technical owner of the Kronos platform, with primary accountability for integration stability, configuration governance, and platform health.
This role is responsible for ensuring all Kronos integrations, security configurations, and platform updates are reliable, documented, tested, and aligned with payroll and compliance requirements across a multi-state retail environment.
Core Responsibilities
Kronos Integration Ownership (Primary Focus)
- Own the design, implementation, documentation, monitoring, and lifecycle management of all Kronos integrations.
- Maintain a complete integration inventory including upstream/downstream dependencies and payroll impact.
- Establish and execute regression testing strategy for Kronos releases and system updates.
- Serve as primary escalation point for integration failures, ensuring root cause analysis and documented resolution.
- Partner with payroll, HRIS, and IT to ensure data integrity across systems.
- Identify and reduce single points of failure within the integration landscape.
Platform Configuration & Governance
- Act as technical subject matter expert for Kronos back-end configurations, including security and business rules.
- Maintain and periodically review application security configurations and integration access.
- Partner with business stakeholders on system updates, process modeling, and roadmap alignment.
- Support audit initiatives including SOX User Review, SOX Update Review, and change control processes.
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation resource for complex application issues.

Job Summary

Position Purpose:
Support Home Depot’s Risk Management Department, with a special emphasis on managing existing captive programs, overseeing program performance, supporting internal stakeholders, and assisting with all aspects of captive oversight consistent with the Risk Management philosophy.
As an integral part of the Risk Management team, the Manager will oversee analysis of retained risk exposures within the captive to ensure the risk profile of the captive aligns with the department philosophy. The Manager's oversight of the programs will include monitoring claims activity insured by the captive, financial oversight, program analysis, and management of complex data sets.
The incumbent will assist with insurance renewals, including the collection and validation of exposure data, completion of renewal applications, and regulatory/audit documentation, as well as leading semi-annual actuarial review process of validating accuracy of loss data and coordinating with involved parties.
Ideal candidates will be well-versed in developing presentation materials for leadership surrounding new projects, insurance coverage, and conveying complex data in a digestible manner by specified deadlines and be comfortable assisting with traditional risk finance organizational tasks supporting various Home Depot operations units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures placement and administration of insurance and surety bond programs including retention analyses, coverage negotiations and policy/certificate maintenance; primary liaison with insurance brokers and insurance carriers.
- Provides proper control of administration of self insurance programs including annual review of cost effectiveness; ensures all associated government reporting obligations are met as prescribed by law or regulation.

ResponsibilitiesProvides oversight relative to all aspects of planning & scheduling within assigned projects
Performs as the scheduling expert for the Business Unit (BU), performing work on advanced and complicated tasks
Demonstrates an advanced expertise in scheduling tools and techniques and regularly stays connected to current and new industry standards
Makes recommendations to Divisional management regarding adoption of latest advances in scheduling practices
Performs skillfully schedule & cost loading for CPM schedules
Performs proficient schedule analysis and analyzes variances and trends when comparing multiple schedules
Performs the delay claims process, develops delay analysis narratives, and coordinates with the Legal Department
Participates in formal proposals and interviews for prospective projects
Ensures adequate controls are in place so that proper schedule techniques and update procedures are followed on all assigned projects
Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
Trains others in risk identification and mitigation
Conducts and reviews monthly project audits and provides recommendations for risk mitigation plans
Reports concerns and updates to Business Unit management regarding proper project controls on any projects within a Business Unit
Monitors overall performance indicators
Manages workload and deliverables and balances with available backlogged recoveries
Trains Project Managers and Superintendents on how to schedule and use scheduling software to manage work in the field
Participates in the Scheduling peer group by actively getting involved in regular meetings or joining a subcommittee
Utilizes industry standard software to support scheduling process

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
8-17 years of related experience
Professional Certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA, or similar is recommended
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
In-depth knowledge of construction means, methods, sequences, crew sizes, productivity rates, manpower analysis, cash flow, and CPM scheduling
Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

Overview:
- Plans, organizes and directs the day to day operations of Medical Staff Services Office including staff supervision, verification of physician credentials and information, communications with physicians, hospitals and various agencies involved with medical staff services.
- Accountable for establishing, contributing, and implementation of standards applicable to medical staff members relating to credentialing, quality improvement, and administrative functions for responsible hospital and system.
- Complies with all regulatory standards, providing consultative expertise to the Medical Staff and hospital leadership on options and permissible actions in order to meet those standards.
- Communication: Provides a collegial environment which fosters teamwork both within the medical staff office, with other members of the medical staff service department and medical staff members of hospital.
- Professionalism in all aspects and commitment to the delivery of quality service.
- Financial/Budgeting: Assist in the development of the system medical staff service budget and manages resources within the budget once approved.
- Monitor operating budge and staffing level for consistency with departmental goals while maintaining a high level of customer service satisfaction.
- Management Supervision: Supervises staff and manages employee performance.
- Provides on-going performance feedback, addresses problems, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests way to develop skills.
- Monitors workflow.
- Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures to comply with medial staff bylaws, hospital bylaws, managed care policies, TJC/NCQA requirements and related state and federal regulations.
- Ensure all provider credentials meet the requirements as outlined by Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, URAC, TJC and state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Policies and Procedures: Maintain, create and revise policy and procedures related to database management collaboratively within the department and what best meet the system medical staff functions, hospital bylaws, managed care policies, TJC/NCQA requirements, and related state and federal regulations.
- Professional Development: Maintains professional growth by participating in educational programs and professional organizations.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry standards, regulations, trends, practices, and developments.
- Reporting/Data Management: Manages data entry of physician information into practitioner files, status reports and productivity reports for correctness and accuracy.
- Evaluates software needs of credentialing database management to fulfill needs of medical staff office operations.
- Maintain a file audit program ensuring audit and survey preparedness.
- Coordinates transmittal of complete and timely credentials file through the various review committees and board approval.
- Periodic evaluation of data gathering process required to ensure organizational needs are consistently met.
- Bachelor's degree in health care or management related field preferred.
- Five (5) years comprehensive Medical Staff Services in an acute care hospital, managed care or credentialing verification organization with three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Current National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) certification as a Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
- Those without certification must obtain it within the first year of employment. Must maintain active certification.
