The Opportunity

As a dedicated Property Adjuster Specialist , you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm and analyzes coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with all state regulatory requirements.

Property Adjuster Specialist focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. USAA also provides a company vehicle to physically inspect losses within your locally assigned territory. Field Adjusters may travel outside of their local territory to respond to claims in other regions when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.

This is a field-based role for Irvine, CA. Candidates currently living in this location or willing to self-relocate are encouraged to apply.

• Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage including potential legal liability.

• Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.

• Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.

• Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies.

• Determines and negotiates complex claims settlement within authority limits. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.

• Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.

• Advance knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools. Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage complex property insurance claims.

• Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.

• May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.

• Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.

• Works independently solving complex problems with minimal guidance; acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

• Adjusts complex claims with attorney involvement.

• Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.

• May require travel to resolve claims, attend training, and conduct in-person inspections.

• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.

• 2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity losses that includes writing estimates, involving dwelling and structural damages.

• Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools and platforms.

• Proficient knowledge of residential construction.

• Proficient knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law and state laws and regulations.

• Proficient negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

• Proven investigatory, analytical, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to travel 50-75% of the year (local & non-local) and/or work catastrophe duty when needed.

• Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.

• US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner

• 5 years of prior field experience handling higher severity/complex losses (i.e. vandalism, malicious mischief, foreclosures, earth movement, collapse, liability, etc.)

• Prior experience adjusting property claims using virtual technologies

• Prior property field adjuster experience handling DWG, APS and ALE adjustments

• Industry designations such as AINS, CPCU, AIC, SCLA (or actively pursuing)

• Xactimate Level 1 and/or Level 2 certification

• Prior deployments in support of catastrophes

• Works with a cross-discipline team to integrate paid social media strategy into a multi-channel, holistic recommendation.
  
• Uses strong quantitative skills, including analytical and story-telling ability, to analyze data and provide insights and optimization recommendations. Familiarity with third-party data and measurement solutions. Developing, executing, and testing across campaign variables that create client-specific insight and feed future successions of testing.
  
• Helps creatives express their ideas with feasible recommendations to tie it closer to the brief. Passionate about innovation and the creative process, desires to find creative ways to say "yes" to ideas and to contribute your own.
  
• Understanding client goals and how to maximize those measures of success through tactical strategies and technologies; Maintaining and optimizing client campaigns to improve overall performance against pre-determined benchmarks on an ongoing basis
  
• Brainstorming and researching new first to market ideas including new betas and opportunities with our partners.
  
• Strong familiarity with 3rd-party tracking vendors and integrating with social platforms
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Substantial experience in account management, planning, and/or performance media experience
  
• Strong working understanding of the Paid Social platforms, including major players and supporting technology Facebook Ad Manager, X (formerly Twitter) Ads, etc.
  
• Demonstrable experience working with multiple partners, on enterprise level paid social media accounts with diverse budget levels and objectives
  
• Proven ability to understand high-level client goals and how they translate into paid media strategy when applied via online technologies
  
• Ability to effectively communicate processes and tactics to clients, peers, and junior members of the team
  
• Understanding of paid social measurement and experience utilizing multiple native measurement tools
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Position Summary

We are looking for a manager to join our Data and Technology team with the Client Growth Analytics group. A successful candidate should be a product-minded, hands-on individual with a strong understanding of technical buildouts, strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit and interest in media and marketing.

You will be critical in helping establish a suite of automation tools & products for a large pharmaceutical client. Curiosity and passion for automation, data management, digital data and new technologies, is a must!

Primary day to day tasks will include working with teams across Initiative to gather requirements and information on workstreams which can be streamlined, developing complex buildout blueprints, leading coding & technical work and communicating with key stakeholders.

A successful candidate will have a wide variety of skills in media, technology, data, and cross team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with other company teams to identify existing procedures and identify areas for automation / improvement.
  
• Engage proactively with key stakeholders and end users to collaboratively define, assess, and prioritize business needs across the organization.
  
• Responsible for designing major programming & buildout blueprints and executing development work on said requirements.
  
• Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories and use cases that design, and development teams can easily implement.
  
• Contribute to certain strategic planning activities and operational improvement initiatives.
  
• Assist in developing marketing and training materials, and be the subject matter expert to provide demos, education, and training to drive adoption of the product.
  
• Assist the management and mentoring of a team, ranging from entry level staff to managers.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of automation development work
  
• Intermediate or better SQL skills
  
• Expert in Excel from basics (pivoting, VLOOKUP's, data manipulations, etc.) to advanced skills (macro creation, custom programming, developing plugins, etc.) is a must.
  
• 2 years of Programming in Python or C++
  
• Excellent organizational skills: capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and communicate with all levels of management.

• Experience with advertising technologies or operations (media planning, buying, reporting) is a plus.
  
• Experience working with data from digital channels (DCM, Meta, AdWords, Bing, etc.) is a plus.

GIGABYTE is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager (B2C) to manage and grow key retail partnerships while expanding the reach of our award-winning gaming and PC solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key retail accounts to drive sales growth and long-term partnerships

What will you be doing?  

• Provide disease state education, therapy, and / or medical device product education including but not limited to supplemental injection/infusion/inhalation training support or technique. 

• To only use approved materials provided by Inizio or by the client, without changing, copying, or distributing the materials. 

• To present in office/home, virtual educational programs to Healthcare Professionals/Patients/Caregivers or other identified customers in accordance with client procedures (Project Specific) 

• To maintain excellent quality and superior customer service while adhering to approved program talking points or scripts. 

• To leverage Client and Inizio approved live video conferencing software and utilize client specific websites as applicable.

• To present client approved educational programs to Healthcare Professionals in accordance with the program scope.

What do you need for this position?  

• Qualified HCP with current state license. 

• At minimum an associate degree/Bachelors/BSN or work-related experience as approved by the client. 

• Preferred minimum of 3 years’ experience working in endocrinology, pediatrics, or related field. 

• Ability to join frequent meetings and calls without disruption or disconnecting 

• Demonstrate effective and professional communication. 

• Ability to present to various groups of people including physicians and other members of the office staff. 

• Demonstrable organizational skills 

• A self-starter with high personal motivation 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills with pleasant telephone manner and articulate phone voice 

• Competency with Call Center Telephone Technology is preferred but not essential.
