Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineer to join us as part of our Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) In-Service and Project Engineering team located in Richardson, TX or Berkeley, MO.

The Advanced Airborne Sensor is a multi-function radar used on the P-8 Poseidon. The team is responsible for developing and performing engineering for production, sustainment, modification and improvements of military and commercial derivative aircraft. This position will work closely with the supply chain, suppliers, program manager, contracts, estimating, engineering, and/or customers to execute the program. In this role you integrate technical requirements and schedule demands with suppliers, coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product, manage a diverse set of projects, and lead proposal development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day management of suppliers, including regular engagement with supply chain to monitor and improve supplier performance. Serve as Equipment Manager for multiple sub assemblies.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers.
• Communicate program status, key risks, issues, and opportunities to customers and leadership, and clearly articulate required support or decisions.
• Develop clear, compliant supplier statements of work (SSOW) for ongoing and new requirements, and lead execution to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
• Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
• Generate an effective set of metrics to communicate status of contract deliverables.
• Manage program deliverables by developing risk-mitigation strategies, tracking issues and opportunities, and monitoring baseline plans to evaluate project performance and capture lessons learned.
• Communicate technical issues/changes via Change Control Boards and/or Chief Engineer Council
• Resolve technical problems by coordinating between engineering, operations, and suppliers to implement effective solutions.
• Support proposal development efforts, including competitive cost estimating, schedule development, and delivery commitments.
• Track and report progress against cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Provide additional program support as needed, such as responding to Corrective Action Requests (CARs), supporting export compliance, and leading lean/process improvement initiatives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and/ or Export Control

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) and ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

The Boeing Missile & Weapon Systems division is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) software team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Metro Area). The Boeing Company and Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team is currently looking for an Experienced Systems Engineer - Health Management (Product Owner) to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. This role will primarily support a Proprietary program as well as other platforms in the GVHMS portfolio as required.

This team develops, fields and supports aircraft support systems for the F/A-18, E/A-18, F-15, T7 and MQ-25 aircraft platforms. The system acquires and manages aircraft health and usage data, performs health and usage assessment, updates aircraft configuration and recommends maintenance actions. The team is looking for a highly motivated systems engineer to develop requirements, perform integration activities, manage project budget, and take on the role of Product Owner (PO) on various projects. This role requires interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure software products are developed that interact successfully to support customer needs. The ability to maintain and develop plans/schedules and to monitor and report schedule performance is required. Good oral and written communications are essential to success in this position. This role will work closely with the software development team, the software test team, other product owners, and the Chief Engineer on the team. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
