About You
The Associate Manager of Store Design & Site Development leads the end-to-end planning, design, and execution of new store development projects. This role ensures that all site and store designs meet operational, aesthetic, and brand standards while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high quality, cost-effective, and timely store openings. This role also oversees a team of three project engineers responsible for designing store layouts and ensuring alignment with Wakefern’s merchandising and operational standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise and mentor a team of three project engineers focused on store layout design.
- Assign projects, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
- Provide guidance on design standards, technical challenges, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial site development, preferably in retail or supermarket environments.
- Strong knowledge of supermarket operations and store planning.
- Familiarity with zoning, permitting, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in design and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe, SketchUp).

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is: $100,00 to $130,000.
Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations. We are seeking a Business Process Optimization Lead to work in our Business Innovation and Transformation Services team, within the >tech_ Division of Wakefern to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across our organization. In this role, you will document and analyze current state processes, identify improvement opportunities using data-driven techniques, and collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement future state workflows, automation and agentic AI solutions. Your expertise in process enhancement, software implementation, and data analysis will be essential in optimizing operational performance and driving our business and technology transformation.
The Business Process Optimization Lead will work closely with our Transformation Projects to identify current state processes, define future state processes and ensure these processes are incorporated into Training and Change Management plans. This role will be responsible for building a center of excellence within the >tech_ division on process improvement driving efficiencies both within our Tech processes as well as across business processes. This center of excellence will include the implementation of Process Intelligence tools, improvement methodology and the rollout of adoption to the Wakefern Organization.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for building out a center of excellence within the >tech_ division to standardize the documentation, analysis and improvement of processes, including the implementation of a Process Intelligence tool.
- Understanding of IT processes to drive improvement and standardization across the division

Overview:
We’re hiring a Project Engineer to support capital projects at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Branchburg, New Jersey. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for an engineer with 3–5 years of experience supporting facility or capital projects in a manufacturing or regulated environment. The position will focus on coordinating contractors, managing project documentation, supporting construction activities, and assisting with system commissioning and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute small capital projects from concept through completion while supporting project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Maintain project schedules and provide regular status updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate daily activities between contractors, engineering teams, and site operations to ensure projects progress efficiently
- Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes, action items, and project decisions
- Track and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change requests, and risk logs
- Support coordination of construction activities and interface between multiple trades including mechanical, electrical, and controls
- Assist with planning and coordination of equipment installations, utility tie-ins, and shutdown activities as required
- Support commissioning, startup, and testing of facility systems while coordinating with engineering and technical subject matter expert
- Assist with project closeout activities including punch list management, documentation review, and system turnover to operations
- Ensure project work is documented and executed in alignment with site procedures and GMP requirements where applicable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Preferred
- 3–5 years of experience supporting capital or facility-related projects in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environment
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, or construction activities
- Experience with piping specifications, mechanical utilities, or facility support systems
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple project tasks
