Performs a variety of duties in preparing patients for scans or particular organs to furnish diagnostic and therapeutic information. Shows sound knowledge and proficiency in operating radionuclide equipment to produce scans; measures concentration of radioactive nuclides in specified body parts. Demonstrates effective safety practices. Is given general guidance and is expected to function with initiative and sound judgement to provide quality services. Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. Demonstrates competence when performing other related or licensed functions. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
